"An eastern sample rages through the sound field, supported by the presence of an extra-terrestrial synth that adds a mysterious tint to the Seven formula. Aggressive growls bring with them an atmosphere that is set to explode as the drop hits, fully packed with chest rattling low-end that defies the laws of chemistry.

"While the percussion is set to minimalism, the combination of the kick and snare move to overpower. The soundscapes swirl and then dissolve during the short break before the second drop hits harder than the first with an instantaneous reaction of pure violence. We've been busy here at TDEC, and it's time we say thank you!

Alongside dropping our debut show featuring Dispatch Recordings﻿, we've hit a couple milestones over night, 1000 followers on SoundCloud, and subsequently 2000 likes on Facebook! We'd like to thank everyone who has shown support, its been overwhelming at how many people are down for what we do!

Aside the fact we're dropping a massive Friday Feature tomorrow, as a thank you we'd like to give you all a bunch of free exclusive music from some super talented artists we have worked closely with this year, both local and international!

We're proud to present you with our first compilation "Sounds Of The Deep End", 12 tracks covering the spectrum of deep and dark bass music we know and love, and it's up for free download! All we ask is you take the time to really show the artists we've included some support and gratitude!

A huge big ups to everyone who has made TDEC happen, both behind the scenes, and on the front line, the amazing artists we have featured and worked with, and a special mention out to our crew for keeping everything locked down regardless of circumstances.

Extracted from the archives, we have Lena's Bank Holiday set from last August for you. 
It was sadly Lena's only set at The Gun, but it was a wild night, sweaty and heaving in the extreme & certainly one of favourites. The crowd had been dancing from about 7pm (Casper Clark and I's warm up is also available here) so when Lena got on for the remaining 4.5 hours, the room went nuts. Its a brilliantly varied and balanced set that encapsulates so much of what we loved at The Gun, banging enough for a room full of seething heads. dancing into the early hours and considered and classy do that it suits playback at any time of the day.
The recorder died just before the end of the set, so it appears those very last tracks were just for us there on that night, the rest is ready now. (Thanks for this Lena x)

For Sessions 12, I tapped one of LA’s finest selectors, kindred spirit Luke Mele.

Luke delivers a 2.5+ hour marathon — a morning-time sipper that eases into an afternoon dance delight. It’s a lush journey through summertime spiritual jazz, fusion, soul, and disco, all pulled from crates at the iconic Last Bookstore in downtown LA.
~
Over the years, Luke has spent time digging at the shop, which he says holds a very special meaning to him. Hence the name of the mix: “Fifth and Spring.”

I started playing house music in 2008 until I reconised my love to Drum and Bass in 2010. Since then I focused myself to collect as many tunes I could. First I played at small Partys. But then in 2014 I won the "Contrast Mix Competiton" and had the chance to prove my Dj skills live in the famous viennese club "Pratersauna" At "the Outlook Festival Lauch Party" alongside Skeptical, Icicle, Spectrasoul, Bredren, Roygreen & Protone and Tom Small.
