This track is inspired by the winds of transformation that keep us aligned with our heart-led path. Iyakuh and I have both embraced a nomadic way of living over the years, while staying creative and crafting music along the way. Winds of Change is imbued with inspirations from a variety of environments from our travels, as well as the courage to gracefully flow when the calling towards metamorphosis is strong.

Iyakuh & VOLO - Winds Of Change

This is the 4th single from my new album "Embraced".  It is a remix I did for the amazing Kyrstyn Pixton, who over the last several years has become a great friend.  

Kyrstyn's music is deep and uplifting.  Her improvisational skills are incredible, and if you've ever had the chance to see her live, she's quite the silly one as well.  I've had some of my favorite live jams with her (dinosaur song at Rootwire, absolutely legendary lol)

I'm so excited to share my rendition of "Beads on the Wind".  I was visiting Kyrstyn and our friend Theo Brama happened to be at her house when I was choosing which song I wanted to remix.  I dove immediately into writing the song and was adding some guitar parts when I invited Theo (also 1/2 of Entheo, who I recommend checking out)to lay down some guitar parts.  Very happy with the result.  This song melts my heart

I wrote this track with Ilya Goldberg (aka Lapa) after a surprise birthday party.  One of the gifts I received was a gorgeous tambura which is heavily featured in this song. 

The song is an amalgamation of ancient strings, violins, rich spring reverbs, found percussion, ripping paper, burning weeds, and a dash of tequila.

This is a bit of nostalgia and feels of yore. I decided to rebuild/remake the wonderful song entitled "	"Comptine d'un autre été : L'après-midi" by Yann Tiersen. Quite simply, it's some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard. This was a lot of fun to remake. The new title "Avy Jorrāelan" is Valyrian for "I Love You" Hope you enjoy a more modern, beat oriented version of this masterpiece.
