BLUE EYED GRASS is a hip-hop sample flip beat tape by Lex Colton. BLUE EYED GRASS samples a diverse range of samples from across the world that are over 50 years old. All sample flips are played by hand, chopped, edited, and curated by Lex Colton through hundreds of hours of listening to music from across the world. It is uplifting, energetic, and a fun listen to toss on during a walk, in the car, at the beach with friends, or a workout. BLUE EYED GRASS is inspired by MF DOOM's 'Special Herbs' beat tape instrumentals. The deluxe version of the beat tape is available for purchase on physical version (lexcolton.com) or Bandcamp.
