This one is for my family. In the middle of the chaos of having a young family back in 2018 we used to have family raves in the lounge in the lounge to this track to blow off steam amongst the whirlwind that is life for early parents. My daughter would want to cuddle me while I danced around, my son tearing around the lounge from couch to couch as my partner and I grinned at each other....it's a special tune to our fam. 

It's much slower than what I usually play so I wanted to make a faster heavier version and of course couldn't resist a vocal chop.

This song was made with @ohthatkazuki, a great artist and a very kind person. I've always listened to his works, so I got the chance to work with him and the result was lovely. We both truly enjoyed the process, and we hope you'll do so too. 

Skyward reminds of the summer nights, with no clouds, and the stars blinking somewhere in the universe.

"Shorter Days" « "The sun is slowly going down in days that are too short to just lay down and wait. The Night is coming."
This song was made with @kaigarage, a great ambient producer who I've recently met. The sinergy was instantly becoming alive, so that we decided to work together and complete this song. 
As you might have noticed, it is the only track that differs from the style of the others. It expresses the adrenaline and energy of a new day, a new dawn. But after the day, the night will always come.

"Name Of The Night" « "What we call night, what the night means to us."

This song was inspired by the waltz rythm, in which you might notice a similarity (the piano can be listened as a "one - two - one - two" movement). 

It was made in a single night, not because I had some kind of deadline, but because it is the result of a stream of consciousness I had to turn into music. It reminded me of the gothic, dark fables that were once told; you might imagine a "Bloodborne" setting while listening: fires in the distance, crows, owls, full moon and a creepy, but beautiful forest. 

Name Of The Night is the interlude that leads to the second half of the album, it leads to what comes after the night: the dawn.

"Glow To Last" « To glow, "to burn, to shine, to give out steady light without flame"

This is a metaphor of how I think an artist should make and perceive music, to be constantly motivated without loosing the effort and passion, to burn in creativity without turning into ashes. 

But it also hides a sort of "hidden melancholy": the feeling of wanting to go back to those places we've always dreamt of. Places that we explored in the past, or that we've never had the chance to visit. scents, colours and sounds that are vivid in our memory, but that we now miss. 

You'll probably and hopefully feel the same melancholy while listening to the main track of this album.
