"Que Con Amor Todo Se Cura" is an adaptation of a medicine song written by Felipe Kilakeo. After having heard this song for his first time while in a cacao ceremony in México, he was deeply inspired to adapt it into this downtempo dance gem. The original is accented by a deep hypnotic remix from PERE. 

"NOMAE" is a co-creation with friend Carolina Niño who birthed the initial stages of the song that MUTA then embraced and built upon to land this beautiful vocal duet between MUTA and his sister Michelle Billiet. The melody which is the foundation for the manifestation of this track reminds us of the importance to allow ourselves to be completely wrapped up in the simplicity of art. Zentrip Muzik takes this beautiful blanket of sound and brings his incredibly inspired violin and subtle production into a beautiful remix.

Medicine was blessed to have the presence of Ninawa Pai Da Mata and our Huni Kuin family at our gathering this last year. Their music, ceremony, teachings and prayers were at the heart of everything that unfolded during those five special days in August. 

We felt moved to honour their offerings by commissioning a very special piece of music, produced using Niniwa's original words and composition, and remixed by Daniel 'el Suchi' Garcia. 

Nai Bai Sitimu provides the soundscape for our 2021 aftermovie, but is also a stand alone piece of musical artistry and we are so proud to share it with you. 

The chant is calling sacred beings from nature and is traditionally used to open a ceremonial space.

Ninawa Pai Da Mata is the Chief of the Novo Futuro Village, of the Huni Kuin people in Acre, Brazil. Ninawa comes from an unbroken lineage of powerful pajés and musicians, he has been on the shamanic path since he was born and has undertaken the highest initiations (dietas) of his tribe, some of which lasted up to a whole year of isolation and fasting in the forest. Considered a rockstar from the forest, he is a gifted musician and captivates people wherever he goes with his charisma and power filled with love and humility.

Born in Guatemala to a Mayan/Spanish family, Daniel is a professional established director and photography director based in San Francisco, California. 20 years of music producer experience and 10 years of diving into audiovisual content creation his past work has been focused on environmental socio-political activism. His creations have been exhibited in film and music festivals internationally and his music videos have reached millions of people around the internet world.

His most recent work with indigenous tribes from Central and South America focuses on indigenous culture preservation through documentation and artistic reinterpretation.

We hear a lot about the importance of forgiving those who have harmed us, but what about forgiving ourselves? Is that important as well? I believe that it is.

Forgiveness

It’s been a while since I posted here anything worth your attention, after years of promoting events, music and spreading consciousness I finally needed to log out and focus on here & now, in order to engage more in working with sacred plants, sound, nature and myself. The right time has finally come to break the silence.

  This Saturday 13.04.19 I will be performing for the first time in Peru. Supporting a noble cause, a SOS AMAZôNIA Benefit Festival organized in order to collect money for planting trees in the amazon forest of Brazil. New president of Brazil threatened to take away a big part of it’s land from the natives and cut its forests to the ground. In order to defend the lungs of our planet we are uniting in art. I contribute my performance and some new tracks I made during my journey here. If you would also like to support the cause you can do it by joining us this Saturday or buying the tracks on my bandcamp (if you can’t support, they’re free to download anyway).

  I am inviting you on this amazing journey that made me fall in love with Peru. All of the beauty I encountered is difficult to describe with few words so I leave you with the sounds and views I collected on my way. The music I made contains samples of the jungle ambience, Shipibo tribe’s icaros, medicine songs and the sounds of some some instruments I got my hands on. The views are photos taken by me and my close friends capturing the beauty of this mystical land.  I would also like to invite you to join us in this amazing place. Psychedelic plants are getting more and more recognition thanks to new scientific research, it is being proven that they treat depression, PTSD, help getting over old traumas, bring people out of addiction, connect them to their creativity and also cure different physical conditions. Countries like United States, Izrael, Switzerland, Czech Republic, UK are opening up to the possibility they might have been wrong by reintroducing the plants as medicine. We already know they were wrong so my close friends from Psychonauta Foundation and myself, are planning different types of retreats to work with Sacred Plants like Ayahuasca and Huachuma, plant dieting, sound healing, yoga, meditation, Wim Hoff breathing techniques, music jamming, dancing and hiking in these beautiful surroundings of the Peruvian nature. We get deep inside ourselves to reconnect with the source in order to heal and bring out our full potential, tune in and realign to the cosmic balance in the ancient ruins of the Incas. Everything under the eye and voice of the experienced local families of Shipibo and Quechua. This exchange of energy is also and important part of the balance here. We can use the beauty of this land and it’s wonders to heal our minds and bodies, as long as we support the local communities with hard work, good intentions and open hearts. So as for the retreats - my first group is already forming, You can also be a part of it! :)   

As for the future, we are planning to build a next level sound temple in the Sacred Valley of Peru, where we will combine different shamanistic traditions with sound and quantum technology. Thanks to the liberal law of Peru, we can do groundbreaking research here safely and share the results with different parts of the world in order to grow together and evolve as humanity.

We are pleased to present a new release by Mariana Root - Rezo. 
It's a song from her first album 'SOLay', that inspired the impressive remixes by Lama's Dream and Ivan Latyshev.
 
Mariana Root is a Portuguese singer and a songwriter who lived four years in South America where she had the opportunity to witness different rituals and ceremonies with indigenous natives from the Amazon forest, such as Shipibo-Conibo, Huni Kuin and Yawanawa, the Q'erus of the Andes, the Koguis and Wywas of the Sierra Nevada of Colombia, who carry their own native song, received from several generations' transmission, and who pass down an ancestral way of singing, from a state of a human integrated into nature. Inspired by these encounters, Mariana recorded her first album, from which the song 'Rezo' comes. The name of the song is translated as 'Prayer'. We would love to introduce this culture to a wider audience, in the form of a more modern electronic cut. It's produced with great care, and intention to preserve the integrity and depth of this song. 

In addition to a strong organic original, you can find the deep sound of experimental electronics in 4/4 style, which is ideal for dance floors, deep listening, or ecstatic dance sessions.

During over 13 years of his musical involvement, from the Norwegian Fjord Rave, underground Tokyo venues, through the legendary Berlin Tresor, best polish clubs, to finally the Amazon Jungle and the Sacred Valley of Peru, as one of the very few in the world, he managed to avoid genre labeling and shared the line up with different artists like MOSE, Ape Chimba, Rodrigo Gallardo, Janax Pacha, Laboratorium Pieśni, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Flume, Teebs, Lapalux, Low Leaf and many more. He brought his plant medicine music selection to Ecstatic Dance Sessions in London, Berlin, Romania, Greece, Poland, Peru, Costa Rica and Mexico.  

Nowadays he focuses on rising collective consciousness, producing ritualistic sounds, djing and designing mystical experiences in Peru. In the Amazon Jungle he created an online educational donation based course called 'The Alchemy of Self' and evolved it into a spiritual retreat design agency. He was invited to co-create the McKenna Academy, a modern mystery school of natural philosophy carrying the work and legacy of Terence and Dennis McKenna.
