Beehunter

In those days, there were many bee trees in the woods,
then some men learned to find them.
One of the first was Oolat,
known as "Oolat, the Beehunter",
One of the first was called Oolat,
Oolat the Beehunter.
To find the bees, Oolat had a bee hunting bird.
Oolat and the honey guide went to the bush together.
Oh, and they found bees, no hive could stay hidden from them.
When they went out, soon they would find a sweet tree --
full of honey.
And when they’d found the bees, Oolat was finished with the Bird.
Because Oolat brought fire, with fire he made smoke,
with smoke he tamed the bees.
Oh, honey to ashes,
oh he took what he wanted.
Oh, honey to ashes,
he took what he could.
And when Oolat went back to his village,
when he went back to his people,
back to his kith and his kin,
Oolat brought honey, sweet honey.

the women all talked to him.

Nowadays,
it’s hard to find a bee tree in what’s left of the woods.

Myristica - Sea of Dreams

So, this has been THE WORST year of my existence... 
having done major surgery, having all I own stolen, and many heartbreaks, many friendships broken. 

Even though it was the worst, I had some help along the way. 
I found the Lord Jesus Christ as well, I got baptized and my "Job Test" still goes on. 

This song is a reflection of all that happened this year. What Is and What was, already happened and is happening, so all I have to do is accept it and look forward to what is coming next. 
What is, is that I still have life
What is, is that I still have family
What is, is that I still have a roof, an education 
What is, is that I still have music.
What is, is that He that sits high and looks low, still watches over me.


So Goodbye 2011 and Hello 2012 :) You can be as mean to me as 2011, but I will still be standing! 

What Is, Is

Well I recorded one about a week ago but never posted it, I will probably post that one later...But, for now, enjoy one I just improvised here.
I joined soundcloud in 2011 about the time of April or around and didn't really get into the swing of things until about June or July of releasing tracks regularly, but I found out it's something I really, really enjoy; thus, I release a track every now and then.
In 2012, I will be releasing a Christian worship album I have been working on for some time as this is what I'm really interested in and what I'm supposed to do, so I hope you will enjoy that when it does arrive, which will be very soon :)
I will still continue to do piano improvisation.  I released about 68 or so improv tracks basically from June to the end of the year, and I will be doing many, many more, so I hope you continue to enjoy them, and of course, thank you for listening.  I'm so grateful for what God has given me in music and that which I can share with you :)

I got my first piano in 2008 and had no experience in playing music. 

I tried to learn music through teaching books but I couldn't find the motivation to read sheet music and practise basic piano techniques.

Two years later I began composing music and had much more pleasure in creating new sounds rather learning boring techniques. 

The best way I can evolve as a musician is through playing a variety of music pieces by other composers that I love to hear. Which is a huge source of inspiration when I compose myself.
