Zagroza is a Kyiv-born, Berlin-based artist. Formerly based in Odessa, Vika aka @zagroza relocated to the German capital earlier this year due to the war. Following this huge upheaval in her life, she began to channel her energy into her DJing and develop a sound that leans into industrial techno and turbo-charged rhythms. As co-founder of Odessa-based event series Riot Rave, Zagroza is familiar with soundtracking stripped-back warehouses and intimate raves, taking her dancefloor on a high-powered workout. Today, however, she’s making moves in Berlin and playing for @synoidberlin, @voxnoxberlin and @boudicaofficial, with plenty more bookings in the pipeline. Zagroza’s also started to explore music production, and we have a feeling her tunes will be just as relentless as her DJ sets. Her TM8 mix flows with crusty acid, the occasional cheeky pop edits and stomping techno, all blended with precision. Remember this name.

A: "LSG - Netherworld 2005 (Oliver Prime remix) - I will never forget the feeling of playing this for my Berlin debut early this year, it’s one of my favourite tracks of all time and this was a very special set to me. It was also the first time meeting friends that I had only spoken to through socials beforehand, it was incredibly wholesome to see them come to support and dance with me."

Following her insane set for us over the summer at TM8 Party #06, we are delighted to feature HØLEIGH on our podcast series. A prolific name on Manchester's techno circuit, HØLEIGH builds her sets with exquisitely-selected grooves, rumbling basslines and a touch of trance. Having made her well-due debut on @hoerberlin in October and played for parties like Teletech and @ismusberlin several times over, HØLEIGH’s schedule continues to grow by the minute. On her one-hour power pod, the Mancunian delivers a speedy, psy-flavoured mix packed with huge drums and tripped-out melodies, finishing on an ambient note. A talent to watch, 100%.

A: "Do I need to pee?"

Taipei-born DJ Kaytseng shares a psychedelic podcast for us this week. Wavey melodies, sleek drums and high-speed trance rhythms pulsate throughout, evoking a mesmerising aural experience. Based in Naarm, Kay has soundtracked local spots Colour, 24 Moons, Bourke Street Courtyard and many more, supporting artists like Mama Snake, DJ Spit and Schacke along the way. Previous mixes for CRUDE and Boiler Room have allowed her to reach a European audience too. While Kaytseng’s sound is typically fast and trippy, she peppers her mixes with soft vocals and pearlescent soundscapes, striking the perfect balance between brutal and hypnotizing moods.
