Akyra a.k.a. Nomen (altēr:altēr / SIHL Records)

Danilo Iacone, known professionally as Akyra and Nomen, is a Naples-born (1989) and Zürich-based DJ, producer, and label owner. His early exposure to music came through his grandfather, who introduced him to the guitar, sparking a lifelong passion for music. Akyra’s interest in jazz began with the discovery of his family’s vintage jazz records, which significantly shaped his eclectic musical taste.

By the age of 14, Akyra had begun honing his DJ and production skills, drawing influence from a wide array of genres that he distills into his signature minimalistic sound. His deep, genre-spanning influences are evident in his DJ sets and productions, where he combines elements from various musical styles with his refined minimal approach.

Akyra has made notable contributions to the electronic music scene, with over 20 vinyl releases on respected labels such as Blind Vision, WE_R House, and Covered among many others. He is also an integral member of the Zürich-based collective, SIHL Records.

In 2023, Akyra co-founded altēr:altēr, a vinyl-only label, alongside his partner Marie. The label specializes in minimal and dark minimal sounds, showcasing releases from prominent artists like Zefzeed, Zenk, Stekke, and Lowris, with more to come. Through his work with altēr:altēr and SIHL Records, Akyra continues to shape and influence the minimal music scene both in Zürich and beyond.

MKLY (Pronounced M. K. L. Y) aka Mike Kelly is a South African music producer and DJ now living in Berlin, Germany. With a taste for the more euphoric and uplifting side of House Music, MKLY focuses on writing music that develops emotion and groove throughout the spectrum.

Co-founder of Ambious Records and Sky Bear Studios and part of Paradise Worldwide Distribution company, his passion for music has extended past the studio and has found him working hand in hand with key industry players to help develop the music industry where possible.

With releases on Ambious Records, Songspire Records, Tommy Boy Records, Traum Schallplatten and upcoming releases on 10 Steps North, Triplefire Music, as well as performances alongside Above & Beyond, Black Coffee, Dirty Doering, Oliver Schories, Sascha Cawa, Sebastian Leger & Till Von Sein it seems that this is only the beginning of the road for the burgeoning career that MKLY has mapped out for himself.

Hailing from Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Raul Moldovan lays down his intrinsic frequencies under the moniker RQZ.
From an early age, music was his education as he absorbed every ounce of his families’ symphonic heritage. As his knowledge and understanding grew, a real thirst for applying this tuition set in.
Raul started to apply his skills within the sound design and composition arena as he began his acoustical journey.
Real synchronicity is evident in his sound as he brings together the ambiguous with subtle nuances of earlier decades, bringing his vision to life. With a focus on the lower end of the minimal derivative, Jazz and ambient frequencies entwine with cosmos and human behaviour which bring an explosive fusion of genres, orchestrated within his live sets.
Firmly on the production trail, RQZ has released many highly-acclaimed vinyl compositions on imprints such as Purple Print, Memoria Records, Modeight, Afterhours, Sous-Vide, Miden, Mr. KS & Friends, Unic, Honne Music, Curtea Veche, NG Trax, Sobriquet, Darcoform.
The future is an extremely bright one for RQZ as the continuation of high-calibre production and experiential live sets provide the platform for his unrivalled sonics to be heard.
