Urban Antidote Records was born at the end of 2006 in Portugal . Our purpose is to create an URBAN ANTIDOTE, a musical escape from the harsh daily reality and a break from urban stressed life as many of us know it nowadays. Our main aim is to stimulate people and show them a way to think out of the box, to live in alternative ways from the usual ones and we would love people to share their own personal ideas on how to do that with us as well. For this reason we invest our spare time in working on things like creating psychedelic music, parties/events, and music releases. Next to that we believe in the promotion of all sorts of artists in our beautiful psychedelic art scene, as well the established names as the newcomers, although always with a high quality standard guarantueed. Damian Chalvignac (FRA/MEX), Damian Chalvignac aka Ololiuhqui es un joven exponente de la música psicodelica. Quien inicia su carrera musical a los 15 años. Mas adelante se adentra en el camino de la producción de sonidos electrónicos y tras asistir a eventos clave de la escena Psytrance Mexicana decide crear su propio proyecto. Ahora plasma su visión sobre el psychedelic trance a través del trabajo con frecuencias sonoras. basándose en atmósferas intensas, leads sometedores y algunos rasgos auditivos de la fauna de los bosques mexicanos y la antigua civilización de su pueblo natal. Su vision en el trance se basa en la intensidad ascendiente para llegar a un estado de trance altamente profundo, que puedo llegar a simular las experiencias visionarias como lo dice la filosofia de Terrence McKenna, inspiracion del artista, e influencias de artistas tales como, Aphex twin y Venetian Snares/Last Step. The State Alchemy Project was created by Alexandros with the intention to throw High Scale Psytrance events throughout Cape Town.
