BBP are kicking the summer of with the 4th instalment of the Breakin the Riddim series, this time with an array of styles for all.
Jayl Funk kicks it off with &lsquo;Come on Little Girl&rsquo;, getting your head nodding and feet bopping with some lovely subtle vocals, and pure reggae vibes in all, leading perfectly into the next track; &lsquo;Selecta&rsquo;. When BadboE gets his hands on any track, there&rsquo;s no disappointment, and that&rsquo;s the same with this one. Nice heavy sub bass rolling in the back behind some harmonica action and those vocal stabs bringing it all alive, before getting super bouncy. We&rsquo;re getting a bit spooky with &lsquo;Rhizoma&rsquo; by the Funkin Basstards. This is a real funk fuelled roller with all those essential elements including big horns, plucky guitars, a mean bassline a haunting vocal to provide of a proper funky, reggae vibes bopper.
Pecoe brings his own style as always with &lsquo;Bring the Booty&rsquo;, building you up with keyboard and guitar stabs, until it drops with some sweet vocals a flowing funk guitar, and a pumping bassline. Towlie DJs&rsquo; skills are on top form, with his cheeky remix &lsquo;Limbs&rsquo;. Getting uo tempo, and proper bouncy, thus is bound to be included in those summer festival sets. Time to get &lsquo;Step Step Step&rsquo; stepping with DJ Clairvo! Now a little change in style, getting some heavy beats, a big bad bass, and vocals getting you stomping the night away.
Finishing of, we have a rising star of the glitch breaks scene. Funkinright brings you &lsquo;High Yo&rsquo;, at track with one intention, and that&rsquo;s to bring that party to the next level. Who is @gramziemusic I hear you ask. Well just as David Bowie had Ziggy stardust, our buck fast poster boy Gramophone Soul has morphed into his funky house and disco alter ego Gramsy! 
It only happens if you spill cheap energy drink on him after midnight. First his back will start bubbling, then multiple pre rolled cigarettes will fire out of his back. After that his skin will seem slightly smoother, his quiff more pronounced and he'll jump on Ableton to start banging out House and disco bombs to keep the dance floor healthy.

BBP is back with another compilation, and this time we&rsquo;re going all summer on it. Paradise Lounge is designed for all aspects of summer. Be it in the Lounge bar, chill-out area or the dancefloor, this compilation provides for all, and kicks off with a bang.
Two awesome producers combine forces for the intro track, and we know we&rsquo;re in for a party, when Crash Party &amp; Boydex get together. They&rsquo;re bringing back those feels of the breakdancing days with &lsquo;Rescue Me&rsquo;, that will be sure to get for feet tapping, both on the sofa and on the dancefloor. The same goes for Bright Idea, who knows his chilled vibes, yet is a funky brother, and hasn&rsquo;t disappointed with this, smooth down-tempo house number call &lsquo;Fun at the Disco&rsquo;. Imagine a beautiful sunset at Caf&eacute; Del Mar, with a mojito in one hand, winding hips and a huge smile on your face... then you&rsquo;re there. Next up is Gramophone Soul, who should be a name synonymous with quality, and yet again the man delivers. His remix of this classic, &lsquo;Trouble&rsquo; fits in anywhere, be it at the festival, the club, or just in the chillout area. A rising star in the edit and remix of classics scene, is the man like LROY. After delivering a stormer of a tune for the very successful Boot of Paradise compilation, he&rsquo;s back with a Boom and a Bap!! Getting super soulful with &lsquo;Soul Break&rsquo;, you get exactly what it says on the tin... Soul and a badass break!
Last up, is a new guy on the scene, going by KaKaow. This guy is a musical talent, using live instruments, and combining them to compose a super funky little number called &lsquo;Shimmer&rsquo;, that makes you reminisce back to those 80&rsquo;s funk days.

Sydney-based, British-born DJ/producer, D-Funk, delivers an excellent nu-skool breaks remake of Everything But The Girl's 1994 classic Missing on Advent Day 29. Even though the original has been remixed several times in the past, we're loving what D-Funk has done with his remix and we're sure you will too. A stripped-back feel is soon given a gritty edge thanks to the deep rumble of a sawtooth bassline, which adds a meaty texture to the otherwise sweet-sounding remake. Advent Day 29: E.B.T.G - 'MIssing' (D-Funk's Nu Skool Breaks Remake)

Just before the end of last year I teamed up with the great blog Life Support Machine (@lifesupportmachine-co-uk) to have a track included in their LSM Advent release which featured a free tune evert day in Dec! 

My track was a total remake of E.B.T.G's classic 'Missing' which I transformed into a nu skool breaks cracker. Ironically it dropped just a few days before the new E.B.T.G's new tune which is also on a breaks tip. It was exclusive with them on Soundcloud but you can also now get it from my Bandcamp (in all formats).
