Funk Freeka's musical journey has seen a natural evolution, progressing from happy hardcore to house, trance, and breakbeat, until eventually finding a deep connection with drum and bass.

During his travels in the UK, he stumbled upon the captivating sounds of LTJ Bukem, which left a lasting impact, drawing him towards the mesmerising and atmospheric aspects of the genre.

In this mix, DJ Funk Freeka delves into his mid-90s roots, showcasing a captivating blend of atmospheric dnb, atmospheric jungle, and jungle tracks. The selection includes works from artists such as Peshay, Coco Bryce, and Double O.
