Waves is about difficult life moments.  How can we ease the pain? There is a refrain during the course of the song where I repeat this in an almost silent plea.  The song captures the feeling of time moving at a different speed in these moments of sorrow and tenderness when the mind freezes.  A numbness infused with a fierce stillness and a fierce love.

Rain drops fell on Nasha's nose.  Soon rain drummed the thirsty land.  For three days, rain soaked the plains.

A note from Marie-Jose Payannet, Director of Danse Etoile Ballet:
In those hard times when live performances cannot happen, Danse Etoile Ballet is producing a movie based on the original story written and illustrated by director Marie-Jose Payannet.  The story will unfold with dances mixed with narration and dialog, choreographed to diverse musics. Danse Etoile has been fortunate to work with Colorado's own composer Bruce Klepper who composed this beautiful piece for Nahsa and the Rain. 

For Native American Flute, Strings,  Marimba, Xylophone, String Bass, virtual instruments and percussion

🇨🇦👾🐙🫀not woke ! Guess that makes me based or just sane  🧙‍♂️Musician, and producer of grungy ambient electronic stuck in the 90s. Not quite a DJ, just love music alot . Also beat distribution on occasion. I’ve been dabbling in metal, hip hop, jazz, funk, industrial, movie soundtracks and electronic lately, and music as a whole since the age of 12 or 13. My music is boppy, raw and quite experimental electronic and ambient. favourite artists are Mike Oldfield , NIN , Kanye , T. rex , lil ugly mane , Prince , Young thug and Pantera .
