Enomoto Seifu was a female poet born into a samurai family in 1732. She focused on her writing mostly after her husband’s death in the mid-1750s, and later in life, she became a Buddhist nun. Her works were collected and published after her death by her son.

This interpretation weaves Let There Be Light, Supernova, and Magellan into a single performance — a quiet tribute to both Oldfield’s music and Arthur C. Clarke’s vision of our planet as one small, fragile home against the backdrop of the stars.
