Took a 12 second sample
Packed it in my little yellow LemonDrop
Played around a bit
Recorded in Ableton after a few minutes
Then in the first trio week I was still looking for a single track
I found Drift of Signifiel's "Magic Number"
Got an exrta track in live
Finished

By changing the tempo & passing it through numerous filters & fx, this was the result, hopefully something significantly different from the original.

Thank you @Sternklang, Dan Simpson and J. Benjamin Niemi for being part of the Junto and providing these great tracks!

I felt "Sternenklang" (the sound of stars) would be a great, poetic title for the resulting music. It reflects the mood to which the creative flow has lead me, and is at the same time a reverence to the creator of the original track.

Sternenklang (Disquiet0533)

This weeks assignment was to remix a trio from an earlier disquiet project.

I very much enjoyed the Campos track https://soundcloud.com/campos-1/on-their-way-with-krakenkraft-and-morgulbee-disquiet0527, So I attacked it with delays and fx and added a more repetitive beat, creating a more washed out remix of the original. Heavy usage of Permut8 with lfo's for the noise barrages.
