El autor original de esta canción se lo dedica a un amigo que estuvo al borde de la muerte, pero que milagrosamente se salva de ésta; aún así sigue llevando su vida al extremo. Maynard le recrimina eso... no aprendió nada con su lección.
Sin duda, la temática de la canción puede dar muchas luces de lo que uno quiera interpretar de ella. El real significado que yo le doy, me lo reservo... muchas personas están muertas... creen que su felicidad depende de otros... cuando realmente es su naturaleza estar tristes...
