The two dirty birdies from Hageby are back with the Back In The Day EP! The title cut flips a classic Brooklyn funk sample into a deep house burner, Last Night really gives it to us (baby), and Estrelar showcases the groovy disco side of the 'Two. Rounding out the EP is a Daniel Leseman remix that reworks the title track into a completely fresh production, bringing the deep dance floor heat for which the FOUK member and Outplay Records co-boss is known. The White Tapes EP of new @secretreels features three original tracks by Kian T (@kiantmusic) and a B side remix by Dutch wizard Daniel Leseman (@danielleseman), which we have the pleasure of premiering here today. 

Daniel takes the original, raw vibes of “Flughafen” and flips it on its feet into a clean-cut, sanguine affair. His signature warm chords and brassy synths are front and center, turning the spacey, atmospheric elements and twinkly keys taken from the original into complementary background pieces. A not too busy, club-oriented groove with hand drums, muted cowbells, crisp hats and jazzy rides gives the melodic elements room to breathe and helps solidify the track as one you’re sure to dance to in the near future.

Un*Deux's previous outing on Ondule doffed an oversized cap to the funk-fuelled tech-house stylings of Robsoul Recordings, with a dash of DJ Sneak style bump thrown in for good measure. This time round, the French outfit has decided to mix things up a little. "Two For The Bass" combines sweaty, warehouse-friendly house ingredients - old scholl vocal samples, relentless percussion, and so on - with a throbbing, Giorgio Moroder style bassline, while "Tools For Fools" is a house tempo trip into the world of electronic jazz breaks. Throw in the loopy, mid-tempo, disc-tinged shuffle of "Groovy Vapes", and you have a pleasingly eclectic offering.

Born in 1993, Ethyène started producing at the age of 16 and became resident dj for the hip-hop collective Artjacking France the same year. 
Shaped by digging the whole different sounds of black music, Ethyène's productions reflect a mature, well influenced but always very personal approach of House Music.
The young producer's career took on a new lease of life with the co-founding of the record label Moonrise Hill Material in 2015 alongside Folamour, Kaffe Crème & St Paul and a bunch of new releases on some cool imprints such as Roots For Bloom, Kolour LTD, Better Listen and more ...

Working Class Anthems, his 6th solo EP in 2 years complete a whole series of grooves, sampling a high range of music genres from Library to 90's R&B witnessing Ethyène's daily digging & producing habits.
