Deepak Sharma takes it deep in DSC005 as he displays his hypnotic collection of techno.

A note from the artist:

Launching in January 2022, DSC (Deepak Sharma Collection) is a new digital series where I’ll be releasing an individual track each month.

The project materialized from the pandemic as an outlet to keep busy and sane from the isolation.  From fresh material to digging into the vault and editing older sketches, everyone was fair game.

The result is a collection of varied works where the sound is consistent with what I’m known for: stripped down, rolling and hypnotic atmospheres ideal for dark dance-floors which I missed both as a DJ and a dancer.

The first two years of DSC have been completed so I see this offering becoming a resource for DJs to grab a tool when they need on a more consistent basis from me.

First access will be available on BandCamp than later in the month the usual digital outlets with its own page on Beatport and then stream services such as Spotify.

I hope you’ll join me on the journey and enjoy the series!

Inez Akker is a Spanish Techno DJ and producer based in
The Hague (Netherlands). Born in Madrid, she grew up in a
family of artists and musicians and inherited her love for
Techno from her dad at a very early age. After being
absolutely passionate about Electronic Music since she was
5, her DJ career actually started in 2018 shortly after moving
to the Netherlands, inspired by Alex Mart and Gabo Lora, co
founders and owners of Papaya Music, a record
label/promoter where she became one of their resident DJs.
In quite a short time, her style got her to share line-ups with
Dimi (AnD), Olivier Weiter, Cliff de Zoete, Dexon and Kike
Pravda, among many others, in Melkweg, H7 Warehouse
(Amsterdam), PIP and Het Magazijn (The Hague).

She has also played in different radio stations, both in the
Netherlands and abroad (Haarlem 105, Fox Radio Belfast,
Layzer Tunes, Spuistreet Records Radio) and has been
invited to record guest mixes at well-renowned podcasts
(Outerspace, Papaya Radio, Winked Records).
She just finished her first Techno EP, which will be released
in the upcoming months.
She has a special taste for hard beat Dark Techno –a musical
genre she uses to express her deepest feelings, thoughts,
and impulses. Under her motto "The world needs more
Techno", her mixes are noticed by a dark but powerful drive
that tells the story of each DJ Set.

Julieta Kopp is one of the brightest upcoming stars in the Argentine techno scene, constantly playing in amazing events and making exceptional music.
This time she delivered ¨ Mechanical Reaper ¨ a monstrous ep with 5 tracks of her own and two remixes from Spaniard legends Hector Mad and Bernardo Hangar.

The Father Of The Factory System is the opening track. An ambient tune that sounds like a granulated dark ocean, preparing us for something big to happen.

Spinning Frame is the first banger, defined by it's loopy fat low end section. The main synth doesn't respect any rythmic pattern, making the track unpredictable. 

The title track, Mechanical Reaper is a bit more muddy, with massive power, and huge drops that turns this one into a dance floor beast.

Spinning Mule has a powerful kick bass relationship that defines it's groovy gallop. Is the more hypnotic of them all, caused by a constant bleeping that remain steady while pads and percussion move all around.

Steel Plow is rowdy. It's main element is the electric main synth that combines smoothly with the heavy kicks that this track possesses.

Bernardo's version of Mechanical Reaper  has a very strong loop  on the bass mid section and main synth, making the song fully hypnotic. 

Hector's remix of Spinning Mule  uses pads to make the story more progressive, but keeps the bleepy and bouncy spirit of the original version.
