This track was mainly composed in November 2019 - 4 years ago.
The music was inspired by the character Markus Cheng by the author Heinrich Steinfest. This one-armed detective, a Viennese of Chinese descent, is the main character of several of his novels.

The Disquiet Junto Project encouraged me to rediscover and publish old and forgotten tracks.

I sorta cheated since I stewed on this one for a few days before Jamuary officially started, but it was all in my head so it doesn't count. Played with some chord progression inversion to make it interesting. Vocal line writes itself for the verse.
