This song was recorded on 11/9/13 in the Diaz studio and was written played and produced in a 5 hour time span. It's about a guy who comes back home to be with his woman after being gone for years fighting in Afghanistan. She is beautiful and took care of their cabin in the Redwoods, and finished raising the kids on her own while he was away. She is still hot looking and he is still spun on her so its all in all a good story. Enjoy - Real D

I grew up listening to The Faces and Rod Stewart, and Maggie May is probably the first song I ever learned the chords to. I have loved this song for over 30 years and have been playing it on my guitar since back when I was a teenager. I played and recorded it on my Martin acoustic and added some percussion and bass guitar. Not as solemn as the original but it will do. Originally arranged and recorded by Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelins "Physical Graffiti" album in '75.

Here's yet another version of this amazing piece by prog rock gods King Crimson. The difference between my version and others is I have been listening to this song since the 70's and have actually seen King Crimson perform it which means this song is in my soul for many many years.

I recorded this on 9/6/2014, here at home, right before me and bassist Mike Pell were supposed to go to my friend Pauls and watch football. In a blistering 5 hour session I recorded it and took it to Pauls. My intent was to piss him off with this sacrilege. I succeeded, as he was quite upset when he heard it! He says Ronnie would be rolling in his grave! Mission accomplished! Enjoy!! It was meant as a parody of this Rainbow classic.

I have a slew of recordings, and was the leader of the bands "Scrotos" and "Gremory" in the 90's along with fronting the acoustic project "The Peekers" with Mike Pell on Bass guitar. After the 90's I helped form Zenbugi having recorded, produced and performed with them between 98 and 2000. Currently I am focusing on jazz and metal.

I have seen the greats perform in my lifetime, from Pink Floyd to Miles Davis, J Page & R Plant, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Jethro Tull, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Iron Maiden, Dio, Scorpions, Journey, Allman Bros, Deep Purple, Boston, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, NiN, Pantera, Napalm Death, Sepultura, Carcass, Ravi Shankar, Beck, Clapton, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, King Diamond, Slayer, and hundreds more. My musical memory banks are like a rock/jazz encyclopedia.

I am available for collaboration, session work, live performances and instruction. I produce from my home studio in Echo Park, CA.
