The Black Light Disco Show rockets back onto the gorgeousness that is the myhouseradio.fm airwaves - giving your pillows a good plumping for the week ahead. 

This week, it’s the turn of our deadly DJ duo and semi-retired Vegas-based tumbling act - Cole Kutz and Esteban! Both lads are currently cranking up the woofers and tweeters ahead of their two hour sonic journey into disco, house, funk and all things in between. 

Cole Kutz kicks things off for the first hour, with delicious tunes from the likes of Alex Gomez, Soul Central, Turntables Night Fever, Makito and Don Sizzle to name but 5! For hour two, Esteban travels across the deeper parts of the dance floor, spinning tracks from Phazed Groove, Stranger Danger, James Juke and Angelo Ferreri & Pietro Over Jack.

Feel Love Friday with Christian Woodyatt (and guest Sam Redmore) | 13th December 2024

Well, this is the episode that nearly never was - repeated tech problems scuppered the live broadcast and I had to abandon it, which was highly annoying… but I managed to record my bit properly the next day. My hour was actually more like 45 mins - a whistle stop tour of worldwide grooves, some mighty funky shizzle and some lovely disco gems to finish. Glad to have got this one down eventually! 

In hour two, after welcoming one half of ‘Bangers & Mash’ My Mate Kate a few weeks back, it was time for the other half, Gentleman George! George and Kate spent this summer bringing silliness, mashups and fun vibes to festivals like Wilderness, Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury, and George kindly put this mix together showcasing a wide range of disco sounds across 75 minutes. Something to appeal to all kinds of disco aficionado in here, what a great mix. As usual, give him a follow per-leeease…!

So, a little while ago - 2015 to be precise... we had an absolute cracking mix on Series 1 of the FUNKcast from head honcho at Jackin.cz - PIF... so I reached out again to reconnect and had a lovely catch up with this guy, since we last spoke we both got married but we both still are running our little House Music HQs and have never lost the love for it.

So lets welcome back to the FUNKcast for Series 3 - Mr Jackin.CZ - PIF... this ones hot!!!

A little more about PIF:
DJ PIF's journey into the world of DJing began with a deep love for music in 2005 when he was recognized by a local DJ and radio host in Czech Republic. As he started to learn the craft of mixing, he was also passionate about being a radio host on a local radio station. This love stayed with him as he was hosting a show for 4 years on Amsterdam Most Wanted radio. Now he hosts a show on the RadioB.cz called Pifoviny.

In 2011 he founded Jackin.cz collective and with DJ MarkyP they put Jackin House firmly on the map in the Czech scene.

He played in numerous clubs all around Czech Republic, being resident in Prague’s Hilton Cloud 9 and also the hub for Czech underground house scene - Pekelnej bar. Sharing stages with international icons, to name a few DJ Sneak, Golf Clap, Flapjackers, Craig Hamilton, Johny Fiasco, Trevor Vichas, and JR From Dallas. They inspired him to start creating his own tracks and since 2012 his tracks were released on labels like Doing Work Records, Full House Digital, Treasured Grooves and more.
