“Table For Two” romantically sets the scene for an intimate dinner by the candlelight. The lyrics flirtatiously unravel the beginning of a new romance, tugging on the listener's heartstrings. The modulating chords follow a unique jazz progression, building intrigue with the stacks of harmonies accompanying it. With a blend of classic electronic keys and soft synths, the R&B blossoms into a cascading bridge, surprising the listener, much like the excitement of a new flame.

Help speaks for itself I think it's a cry of relief. when you feel like you're trapped in a place you don't want to be sometimes the easiest way to deal with it is to a write a song. this one comes from a place of being unsure of what's next or overthinking. like all troubled times, talking about it can take lift a weight off your shoulders.

this song sort of leans into that feeling like you can't talk to anyone but then realising that you can. and how it can change your perspective and realise it's ok to not be ok.

this is our favourite song written to date, we hope you enjoy it!

Rebecca Turmel originally intended to pursue a career in musical theatre, but her path changed when she taught herself to play guitar and began exploring herself through her own music. She took a leap of faith and quit her day job to become a full-time musician in 2020. Her latest release The Road Song tells the story of her life on the road she's been living these past few years.

Rebecca’s music is a unique blend of country, rock, and folk - although her love for country shines through the most. Her lyrics are honest and heartfelt. Her voice is both powerful and vulnerable. She has a gift for telling stories that connect with her listeners on a personal level. Although she is fairly new to the world of songwriting, Rebecca proves to have a penchant for writing infectious tunes and relatable narratives.

After the success of her first single Am I Missing Something?, Rebecca decided to “go big or go home” and recorded her next single Girls on Fire at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN. She worked with producer Bryan Clark (Bonnie Raitt, Kelsea Ballerini) and engineer Michael Walter (Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood) on this track. "Girls on Fire" also features some of Nashville’s finest musicians including Adam Fluhrer on Electric Guitar (The Avett Brothers, Jason Isbell), John Henry Trinko on Piano (Kacey Musgraves), and Chris Brush on Drums (Toby Mac). 

Rebecca recently just got back from another recording trip to Blackbird Studio. Another big project is on its way...
