This came to be at around 5:00am after being up all night, I was bummed out because I was fed up with my illness and hadn't slept in days. Then I go down the hall and saw my wife and kids sleeping which brought back all the wonderful memories we shared together, then I gave up on the pity party, felt much better and started playing my guitar.

Faded Memories

Steady by Japanese band Speed was the theme song for the Japanese TV show, Itazura na Kiss, in 1996. It was my childhood favorite! ❤️ the manga and the tv show was so popular that it’s been adapted to different versions in many different languages.

It’s about this silly, straightforward, simple-minded girl, that fell in love with the smartest student in school, after an accidental kiss when they bumped into each other in the hallway. 🙈🙈🙈🙈 the boy was so arrogant and disrespectful, but eventually opened up by her natural kindness.

I can’t count how many times I imagined being that girl XD it was my biggest dream to fall in love like the two of them. XDDDD

This cover is my version of Steady. I wrote the English lyrics and made the track. ^_^
