Featuring a unique blend of downtempo electronic dance music with elements of acoustic piano and intimate voices, the upcoming EP "Aura" promises to be a captivating listening experience.
Aura is a fusion of aggressive, punchy downtempo beats that collide with genuine voices and spheric piano soundscapes. The key concept is a playful experiment with contrasts. The absence of one element makes another more visible, just as the absence of light gives room for darkness, and vice versa. Groovy drums provide a foundation for the tracks, while powerful vocals add a haunting, ethereal quality to the pieces. The EP consists of 3 tracks, one featuring the polish artist Józefina, an acclaimed pop-singer also known as Lari Lu, who has built her position performing with Varius Manx and Piotr Rubik.
The aura as a phenomenon is a subtle energy field that surrounds every person, animal, plant or moment. It is fragile and unique - it may be a summer sunrise with fog that has not yet settled, or a dramatic collage of clouds in purple, indigo and grey. It is a unique moment that exists only once in time and can pass in an instant without the possibility of repetition.

The Bernese musicians Jerry Spoon & starfrosch released their melodic, ambient to organic technoid album "Absorbed" on the 23rd of August.

The tracks with driving drums and spherical synthesizers with vocals (Ki Mono, Irina, Henry's Affair, Kara Square) and remixes from the environment of the musicians, are sometimes filigree to danceable. Their sound moves the crowd in the clubs, but also fits in the hammock on the beach.

Jerry Spoon & starfrosch work in the genres Organic Downtempo, Electronica and Melodic Techno. Connecting elements are the liquid techno beats, trance synths, guitar and vocals.
