The song Turn It Up Bright tells the story of person who is lost in the depth of depression and the strong desire to rescue her at any cost. In a world filled with dark chaos, we all have it within our hearts to seek out those who need our help and bring them out of darkness. Most people who suffer from depression will not ask for help for fear of being judged or dismissed. As the songwriter, I am thrilled to have collaborated with Herbie Hatchback, Jose Dicaro and Will Konitzer on uniquely different takes on Turn It Up Bright. In-line with a specific prior hypothesis, clear evidence was found of a shift in cortical travelling waves away from the normal basal predominance of backward waves and towards the predominance of forward waves – remarkably similar to what has been observed during eyes-open visual stimulation. Moreover, the increases in forward waves correlated positively with both the general intensity of the Moment Thang’s subjective effects, as well as its more specific effects on eyes-closed visual imagery. These findings have specific and broad implications: For the brain mechanisms underlying the Discreep Moment state as well as conscious visual perception more fundamentally.

It's time to remix the fabulous Jody Watley - Off the Hook released in 1998. The track itself is a beautiful mix of musical styles between the RnB, the soul and the pop. 
By modernisation, I really think those kind of accapelas fit perfectly for new waves house music or old school house music. 

I would descript this track as a deep house track thanks to this sub bass, rolling on that smashing beat. Impossible to unmentioned this main synth that reminds early 1990 Garage house music from the UK or the US.

Off The Hook

We are in a time between worlds; the old forms are no longer viable but the new forms have not yet taken shape. The nature of capitalism but also the nature of civilisation is shifting and we find ourselves thrust into a profound period of evolutionary emergence.

This crisis is a crisis of identity; the question of what are humans here to do and be, and if we are to jump, join or collide with the oncoming train.  For we are moving from a civilisation that is defined by a very basic anthropocentrism centred around exploiting the natural resources of the planet to one in which we take up stewardship for all other life forms we share it with.

Contrary to the popular “hero myth” of dominance over evil forces, we should be looking towards deep service. Rather than the conquering hero we become the lover of humanity, embodying compassion and humility. The essence of humanity and of civilization is really just a series of interactions; being able to really be with each other.....Is this an imagination apocalypse - An Imaginocide?
