Talisman navigates a variety of musical realms from around the world, mixing organic and electronic sounds that range from: fun and whimsical to dark and mystical, and, slow and sultry to fast and ferocious! 

He masterfully mixes music with Funky Bass, Soulful Lyrics, Mystical Chants, Electronic beats, Tribal Rythms and deep atmospheric sounds from the far recesses of the Multiverse! Often layering Live instrumentation into the mix such as Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Percussion bringing you into the music, adding excitement, and an element of surprise!

Talisman Groovemaker is a Sound Alchemist, Story Teller, Musician, DJ and Producer based out of Eugene Oregon. Most recently he had the honor of sharing the stage with Desert Dwellers @ The Big Dirty - the Premier Venue in Eugene, Oregon.

Groovemaker, first and foremost, considers himself to be in service to the dance floor by tuning in to the energy of the moment. Each set of music is custom crafted specifically for the event and environment. His goal is to provide a vehicle for a Transcendental Dance Experience!

Groovemaker got his professional start as a DJ in 2012 when he made his debut at "The Full Moon in June" Festival where he combined his love of LiVE instruments with electronic music in performance for the first time. He then went on to perform and produce the music for the Oregon Country Fair "Fire Theater Show" in 2013 and 2014. In 2015 he played the 3rd Annual Exotic Erotic Ball @ The Historic Armory in Ashland, Oregon, sharing the stage with Ra Ra Avis, formerly of the Desert Dwellers.

Groovemaker was a regularly featured DJ between 2017 and 2019 at "Soul Tribe Sundays” , a popular weekly underground dance music night at Sessions Lounge in Eugene, Oregon. He also headlined the Official Dirtwire After Party in 2018 and 2019.

A few years ago, Talisman became inspired by the work of the Legendary Gabrielle Roth, who was an American dancer and musician in the world 
music and trance dance community who had a special interest in shamanism. She developed a system of using different rhythms with music and dance to facilitate a shamanic experience. Since then, he has made several appearances for the long running Coalessence Ecstatic Dance at The Wow Hall in Eugene, Oregon, and is well versed in the art of Ecstatic Dance.
