Francesco Visconti (VSK) is a producer and DJ from Rome, Italy. From a young age, he has demonstrated an innate passion for electronic music, having been introduced to the world of DJing when he was only 16 years old. 

Showcasing a distinct level of diversity in all aspects of his artistry, Francesco has produced many different forms of techno throughout his already illustrious career. His style ranges from a sound that is very hard and dark – often with industrial influences – to a deeper, cerebral one. Both, however, are still easily recognisable as coming from the same mind. 

VSK’s contribution to the series, which stretches beyond the hour mark, incorporates an intriguing variety of groovy techno numbers & gritty breaks - all of which held together by truly impeccable mixing.

We’re honoured to be able to kick off our sophomore series of EQUINOX Invites with such a highly regarded artist; initiating the next chapter of a series we are becoming increasingly proud of as time goes on.

After a decade of admiration, we are ecstatic to invite Swedish production duo @shxcxchcxsh to contribute the 363rd edition of the IA MIX Series - delivering a brazen assault of the senses with a potent mix of white noise, wrought iron percussion, abstract sound design, rave and experimental techno. 

Having recently dropped their new album on @avian-music, we caught up with SHXCXCHCXSH to find out more about the makings of 'Kongestion' LP and attempt to decipher the chaos and mindset that inhabits their music and identity.

This is 1 hour excerpt from 3 hour set that was recorded in ://about blank on 17.06.2022, during fundraiser event “Mriya”: Ukrainische Nacht, we played back to back with  vinyl, CDJs and a Boss delay pedal plugged into aux sends in Xone 92 mixer. Recording quality appears to be not the best one, but still we thought it would be nice to share this mix for all those who wanted to come to our event but unfortunately didn’t make it for different reasons, for them to experience a bit of positive energy and mood that all of us needed for so long and finally shared in ://about blank at that night.

With striking mixing capabilities and a sound that transcends the line between bleak and melancholic, the calmest man from Copenhagen’s thriving techno scene, is also one of its real heavyweight talents. After many years of DJing on sight, Bagge released his first EP ‘Ingen Tak Til Systemet’ on Ectotherm in 2016, which was received with an overwhelming response from listeners and dancers across the globe. The follow-ups soon came with a full-length album on Norhtern Electronics, and contributions for labels such as Ownlife, Persistence,  KAOS by Héctor Oaks and Courtesy’s own Kulør imprint.
