This is a live recording of my set at "RHADOO / Beat In Me", held at Vent in Tokyo on 29th November. It’s the opening set on the main floor from 23:00 to 1:00, before Rhadoo’s performance. Please have a listen when you have some time.

• No mastering has been applied.
• The recorder was slightly malfunctioning, and I couldn't properly adjust the input levels during recording. As a result, some tracks have distorted kicks. Thank you for your understanding.

The release kicks off with ‘Handy Boy (Casa De Mama Mix)’, a track characterized by its fierce drums and vocal chops; think prime Junior Vasquez through a contemporary lens and you’re getting there. Second up on the A side is ‘Big Nik’s Speed Garage’, a subtle yet driving track which showcases the intricacies of Liquid Earth’s productions. The flip opens with ‘Lick Of Life (Just A Little Mix)’. Again, we see the Barcelona based producer’s dexterity on the buttons, this time fusing a jazzy bass & synth topline line with shuffling, impactful drums. Rounding off proceedings is the slinky ‘Clubber’s Exit’. Vocals provided by the man himself, with vocoder manipulation in full effect, Freels solders 80s sleaze with a highly functional electro-inspired house groove, making for a perfect closing stanza to an impressive first outing for Mr. Liquid on the imprint.

Gogan’s journey into electronic music follows a familiar yet deeply personal path—starting with club nights, listening to sets, and eventually experimenting with mixing at home. What began as casual sessions for his girlfriend soon evolved into club gigs, marking the start of a career shaped by curiosity and dedication.His early influences came from Wrocław’s underground vinyl scene, particularly Chris In, who introduced him to the inner workings of the industry. As he grew, encounters with artists like Subb-an, Burnski, and Silat Beksi pushed him beyond DJing into production and label management. While Wrocław didn’t provide direct musical inspiration, his creative outlook has always been outward-facing, drawing influence from international scenes.Today, Gogan juggles multiple roles as a producer, DJ, label owner, and even a construction company manager—all while maintaining an unrelenting passion for music. Whether crafting tracks in his home studio, curating releases for his label Kooky Music, or setting the vibe with warm-up sets for artists like Priku, his approach remains deeply rooted in authenticity and exploration.In this interview, Gogan reflects on his creative process, the realities of Poland’s electronic music scene, and what it takes to stay prolific in a fast-evolving industry. Audiojack explain that ​“‘Inside My Head’ was inspired by an old prog record from the 90s that used the same vocal. ‘Behind The Curtain’ is based around random noise generators and industrial sounds, which give it a very robotic feel. Then the distorted Wurlitzer piano comes in like a human rebellion against the machines and the track becomes a tete-a-tete between the two concepts”.

Audiojack ​began life over a decade ago on Ralph Lawson’s seminal imprint 20/20 Vision. Since then Underworld, Groove Armada and Hot Since 82 are among the artists who have enlisted them for remix duties. Avision storms into 2020 in fine fashion with his first EP for Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio label.

Playing the decks since just 12 years of age, this American artist grew up in the musically rich New York City scene and is now at the sharp end of it with his own new school techno sound. He has released on key labels like Ben Sims’ Hardgroove, Mark Broom’s Beardman and Teksupport, and is someone that icons like Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing often reach for in their own sets.

He starts off his latest offering with 'Innocence', a bustling techno track with bulky drum programming that is brilliantly loose. It jostles you into action as dark vocals add intensity and makes for a perfectly physical dance floor workout.

Keeping up the pressure is 'Time Lapse', with big hi hats and a driving bassline all interwoven with thundering kick drums that will get the whole club up on its toes. A rising synth in the background adds an air of cosmic exploration and means this tasteful techno trip is enthralling from start to finish.

These are two superbly stylish and high powered techno cuts from this contemporary tastemaker.
