Lost over the past few years to cloud drives and dusty SSD's, Hard Drive Re-Scan is a trio of re-hashed Recycler doof cruisers from the past have given a second, slightly more high fidelity life.

The dub techno influenced Head Torch Mix of Wind Mirror with its twisted plod over the astral plane, while break beat ruff-cut Last Repeat barrels along with the frenetic energy of a mid-after party drum machine jam and half a D5. The EP closes with the warm house chug of Monet Refuses the Operation (Foreshore Mix), an arpeggiated sunrise featuring a reading of German poet Lisel Mueller's Monet Refuses the Operation by the woman herself; a warm and optimistic end to this archival ménage à trois.

Two hours recorded straight to hard drive in the Roseneath St lounge; this mix is a stack of muscly basslines with speckles of groove and psychedelic trebles of 90s and 00s tech house and techno I've been digitally digging recently. A few freakier left turns into modern "prog" and beefier tracks made for peak time round the 'ting off. Lots of long blends and time for tracks to do their thing!
