Hailing from Liège, Belgium, Danyiel Evan is a passionate musician whose pursuit of simplicity and depth is evident in his melodies and lyrics. A talented illustrator, he intertwines his two passions, enriching his music with drawings that transform each piece into a unique visual and auditory experience.

Danyiel views himself as an artisan of sound, taking the time to craft songs that oscillate between playful melodies and captivating grooves. His work has been praised by Sound Won't Stop Review, which describes him as a reflection of Drake's artistic essence.

His musical influences are deeply rooted in cherished memories, as he seeks to recreate the moments of connection and wanderlust that have shaped him. After relocating to Berlin, his latest single, "Dancing With The Moon," caught the attention of British songwriter Jacko Hooper and is featured in the Acoustic and Chill playlist of Folklore Sessions.

On June 8, 2022, he released a new track titled "Oh Wind," which was highlighted by Inyourears, an independent radio station in London hosted by Sophie, known as The Purplmac. In September, Danyiel will return to the stage in Belgium and Germany, performing at Madame Claude, one of Berlin’s premier underground venues.

Currently, he is preparing a new EP, collaborating with a mastering studio in Stuttgart, and building a new team to support him on this musical journey.

Music is my therapy, its my release from past military trauma. Its never been about fame or fortune for me, just sharing some spark of hope in the world.  Been playing guitar and bass since I was a kid.  Gradually transitioned to learning keyboard and drums as well.  Started writing my own songs when I was 15.  I’ve written well over 1000 songs in my lifetime . I'm a fully functioning studio and work with various musicians worldwide. I enjoy working with all genres. Roberto Silvestri, classe ’78, si avvicina alla musica sin da bambino, ma è soltanto nella prima adolescenza all età di 13 anni che scopre il Rock.
Ultimo di tre fratelli, riceve dal maggiore la collezione di vinili dei Doors ed in quel momento inizia il viaggio, lungo e psichedelico (malinconico e inebriante) nel mondo del Rock.
Dopo aver consumato una dozzina di puntine del giradischi, ritrova nella sconfusionata cantina una chitarra classica : una ripulita, un cambio di corde ed il gioco è fatto.
Gli anni passano ad ascoltare e a suonare, inizia a comporre i primi accordi, le prime melodie; quando un caro e fraterno amico, Palmiro Gargiulo classe ‘76, fa scivolare un foglio: un appunto.
Roberto, in un batter di ciglia, lo raccoglie, una rapida occhiata: una poesia.
Il solito Miro… pensa, e la canticchia: “No, non credo che sia…Fumo nell’Ariaaa”.
Da quel giorno, come un fiume in piena, nascono ballate, stornelli, canzoni, fino alla strabiliante idea di musicare classici della Letteratura Italiana.
Cosi prende vita Il Trionfo di Bacco e Arianna, Pianto Antico, Solo e pensoso.
Siamo alla metà degli anni 90, quando il Rock è forte e si fonde con altri stili, cosi nell’artista:
conosce altri Rockers e avvia diverse collaborazioni, Tour, session in studio, e brevi apparazioni televisive (Roxy Bar, Neapolis Rock Festival).
Nel frattempo, giunti gli anni 2000, l’artista prosegue la sua carriera universitaria in Legge, quando vince una borsa di Studio all’estero (erasmus).
Dal piccolo paesino montano della provincia sud di Napoli si trasferisce nella caliente metropoli mediterranea: Barcellona.
Proprio lì conosce altri suoi coetanei innamorati del rock e delle performance live, trascorre un periodo di forte ispirazione, qui compone il suo album "Behind the stars".
Dopo una parentesi di qualche anno, decide di rientrare nella sua terra natia, con il nobile scopo di terminare, da lì a poco, gli studi.
Conseguita la laurea in Legge e il consecutivo titolo abilitante, si tuffa nella libera professione, pervaso da sani principi morali e umanistici.
Di sera, però, dimentica tutto questo quando si sfila la cravatta ed indossa i suoi blue Jeans strappati, impugna la sua fedele compagna di vita la Strato e parte …puro Rock n Roll.
Un viaggio lungo trent’anni, tutto d’un fiato, in apnea, come un lungo bacio sulle rosse labbra di una ragazza, questa gli appare ogni notte, nei suoi sogni, come una Dea…
