Citing inspiration from the likes of Biggie Smalls and MF DOOM as key influences he instantly draws parallels to the iconic sounds of Loyle Carner and Kofi Stone.
 
TrippleJayy’s recent self-released EP “New Funk, New Wave” speaks openly of the tribulations he’s been through as a young adult whilst still maintaining an authenticity that’s rare to find in modern times. With heavy rotation from BBC Introducing and receipt of two of their prestigious ‘Record Of The Week’ accolades he’s clearly a name to watch and a new voice to take note of.

Nasty DJ has been rinsing the decks and smashing dance floors since 2001 and has played at several clubs, venues and outdoor raves up and down the country.
Over the many years of mixing and going through sub genre changes Nasty DJ settled down with the hard, dark and dirty side of drum & bass.

In 2009 Nasty DJ started whats known as the Nasty collective!! A network of dnb heads who all share the same views on the dark, hard and Nasty drum and bass. The Nasty nights were started as there was a unfortunate lack of any hard drum & bass nights going down in the local area, since then Nasty DJ has been hosting some of the finest open air raves Shropshire has ever seen.

When Nasty DJ is on the decks always expect heavily aggressive, hard hitting, hi octane mixing with shed loads of double drops.
