Go the Rodeo is an idea not bound by a certain sound, or specific genre. We aim to express our emotions, frustrations and passion through music, and share this with the world. We’re not trying to entertain or compete, but rather connect, and create a vibe that brings you closer to yourself and others.  
In 2018 we’ll be joining Jampacked Productions together with multiple South African and international bands in an effort to raise R1 million for the Rocking for Rhinos foundation. This gives us and you an opportunity to be a part of something bigger, and all you have to do is to come and enjoy a show or two :)

Red Letter Sunday is a 4 piece Alternative Rock band from Johannesburg South Africa, with a stage presence that excites the crowd and inspires the soul.

Founded in 2005 and formally known as Fleshwound, Red Letter Sunday took to the South African Music Scene and quickly made a name from themselves in the Hard Rock community by opening for many of the bigger locals acts and getting booked for a few local festivals.

In 2012 Red Letter Sunday released their debut album "The Brave" and received very favourable feedback from there fans and the local hard rock scene.

With a few changes in the bands line-up over the years, RLS decided at the beginning of 2013 to go on an infinite hiatus.

In 2015 Neil and Gihan decided that it was the correct time to start RLS again.

Exploring more styles of music and performing and writing with different artists during the hiatus, Red Letter Sunday returns to  the scene with a fresh new line-up to take the stage again.

Joining forces with Andy Maritz on drums and percussion and Nico Strydom on bass, they are back and ready to rock with their sound and style.

Taking influences from the likes of Alter Bridge, Sevendust, Audioslave and more just to name a few.

Their sound ranges from good old Blues to Rock.
