Meet BYAS, a Belgium-born, Bangkok-based DJ and producer making waves in the realms of dreamier house and techno. With over 4 million streams, BYAS has captivated audiences from Mexico to Europe and now Asia. His unique sound, influenced by artists like Ben Böhmer, Pandhora, and Joachim Pastor, has solidified him as a rising talent in the electronic music scene.

Yasin's music invites listeners on a transformative journey. Fan-favorite tracks like "All I Need" "The One," and "Eagle" showcase his versatility across deep EDM, melodic house, and techno, resonating deeply with fans.

Collaborations have been a significant part of Yasin's journey. His work with Helius, the track "Building" landed at number 22 on Beatport's Hype Top 100 list. He's also been remixed by emerging talents like AKZENTH and has remixed for Leyla Diamondi, who has been featured on BBC Radio.

Drawing influence from his love of the early 2000's Deep Tech-House scene and twisting it with todays more familiar feel of Dub, Minimal, Deeper edged Techno, Valpy manipulates sounds into what he feels is right for the darker clubs & dance floors, creating a sound that does not follow suit, bending a few 'rules' along the way...

Using his many Clubbing experiences over the years in the UK, Ibiza, Amsterdam & beyond, Valpy has developed a passion for raw emotion filled techno, often challenging the sub woofers with his bass heavy touch, without busting the bank on the tempo front. A balance of 'good vs evil' can often be witnessed in a Valpy Techno piece

Fascinated with pitch & bass, Valpy has moulded and evolved his sound into what he produces today, recently gaining support from Pig & Dan, Ramiro Lopez, Dubspeeka & Matt Minimal, who also contribute to the style & development of his tracks, along with Alan Fitzpatrick, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati & Carlo Lio

Having had 2 EP's released on dubspeekas Skeleton Label and also with Seva Records, Plunk, Lethal Script & Berberris in 2014 alone, Valpy's sound has now been recognised by fast up and coming label Gain Records, (supported by the likes of Richie Hawtin) with a Solo Artist Album due for release in April 2015. There are also further releases on Skeleton and new outfit Kitchen Smoke pencilled in over the next couple of months too

To close, Valpy aims to produce music he wants to hear on the same dance floors that he frequented over the years, experimenting along the way to produce his own unique blend, with the odd twist & turn along the way...

Macbeth, is a third generation musician, songwriter, and DJ with a love for minimal, deep, and tech house. A songwriting prodigy, Macbeth composed his first song at age 6, and has been writing and recording music since. His grandfather (The Great MacBeth) was a jazz and calypso musician in the 1940’s in Harlem, NY and his father, Ralph MacDonald, was a well known studio musician, performer, and songwriter from the 1960’s until his passing in 2011. Growing up in a musical family exposed Macbeth to performing in front of thousands of people at a young age, and also allowed him to explore his own musical tastes. While his first musical venture as WeThaPeople was in the hip hop genre, his 30th birthday at EDC Orlando converted him into a lover of electronic dance music. His natural ability to hear musical progressions and his love for a wide range of genres makes him a one-of-a-kind house DJ that leaves his listeners feeling inspired and electrified. Bought my first Kam belt drive record decks in 1998, and started DJ-ing shortly around Cork City and County as well as getting a slot on local stations Kiss FM, NRG FM, Klub FM and a few shows on the legendary Radio Friendly. Genres at the time- trance, house and hard-house. Also started using Acid Pro to make my own edits and mashups.

Having been retired from the DJ-ing game since 2006, Ableton Live filled the void as I started to learn to produce tracks.

Now...
In 2019, I picked up my first midi controller, a Pioneer SB3 with Serato Pro and started putting new set mixes on mixcloud.

Currently, I'm putting out bootlegs and mashups using Ableton as a kind of learning curve to making original tracks.

Short term goal - 2k+ followers. DONE!
Long term goal - get something signed! DONE!
New goals incoming, roll on 2023!
