DJ Terrapi, from Bern, has been collecting records for over 17 years. Sometimes, when he's not in the Radio Rabe Studio, in his weekly show 'Gschächnütschlimmers', he likes to show up at a public event with his long-sought records. Then he plays rap and all the formative influences of this wonderful speech-singing genre like disco, funk, soul & world with the aim to get the crowd to dance, to think and influence the environment positive.

REEL BEETZ is the producer name of drummer Joel Studler. With great love for mellow drums and spicy basslines he crafts songs that are rooted in and evolve from Hip-Hop, Soul and Funk. He incorporates Jazz harmonies, Hip-Hop drums and Funk basslines into his raw and genuine production leading to a colorful palette of sound and texture. With his unique drumming style and the blend of live instrument with samples he creates an organic and original sound that just feels right. Live he is joined by talented musicians in performing a live set that combines the continuity and danceability of a DJ set and the dynamic range of a Jazz band. The beat goes on & on.

the electronic group THE LUGUBRIOUS is native of the Swiss capital Bern, famous for its alternative districts and its mythical club Dachstock. Pumping beats with great love for textures, crunchy samples, distorted saxophone hooks and a whole range of different synthesizer sounds send you on a discovery trip into the depths of your dreams. Their upcoming release „Chapter II“ is diverse, melodious and deep, overwhelmes you with the pleasant feeling of a warm, energetic summer night - get intoxicated! actually isn´t. If at all, it´s that kind of melancholy that is reminiscent of the beauty of life. And anyway, the weight of the sound mainly stems from the heavy basslines, while the acoustic experiments and surprising sound effects are vibrant with light and freshness. 

After presenting a mix of house club music and chillout-sound on their debut “Ohema” in 2015, the new EP features quite some experiments and leads us through a unique world of music full of emotions. Their mixture of Ambient, Electro, IDM and EDM have brought THE LUGUBRIOUS already a nomination as promising newcomers in the category “electronic” at the M4Music Festival, one of the most important music festivals in Switzerland. Further they are well known for their remixes of some popular songs by celebrated Swiss acts like YOKKO, LEN SANDER and PABLO NOUVELLE.
