Ten years of On Board Music—it speaks for itself. We’ve been collaborating with them almost since the beginning, watching them grow steadily while staying true to their values—thoughtful curation, long-term relationships, and a real commitment to the artists they work with. Reaching a decade in this industry without compromising is something worth celebrating.

For their anniversary compilation, they brought together a group of artists who reflect that spirit. Among them is Jin Synth, whose track Self Navigation adds a spacious, introspective layer to the release. We first met Jin at Mostra Festival a few years ago and have been following her work since—whether through her releases, her live performances, or the way she approaches sound as something deeply hands-on. She also contributed a guest mix to our series, offering another glimpse into her precise, layered style.

In this conversation with Theresa Bäumel, Jin shares more about her background in sound art, her process of building custom instruments, and how she stays grounded in a constantly shifting scene.

Anthony Linell & Mattheis live at Draaimolen Festival 2024

For this month's Unrush mix, we're excited to feature Eric Cloutier - a true digger with a deep history in the scene and an ear for detail. His 90-minute guest mix flows through warm, textured ambient with darker, rhythmic turns: subtle, patient, and always engaging.

Cloutier’s path has taken him from Detroit to New York, where his years as a regular at The Bunker New York helped shape his distinct style: deep, body-oriented music with a strong sense of narrative. Now based in Berlin and a resident at Tresor, he continues to bring that same focus and depth to clubs and listeners around the world.

With a straightforward, no-nonsense approach, he has spent years honing his craft. His label Palinoia - named after the act of repeating something until it’s mastered - reflects that mindset: a home for stripped-back, dubby techno and lesser-known talent that fits seamlessly into his sets.

A true digger with an ear for detail — this mix is one to sit with...

Let's head back to Fuse on January 4th for two hours of technical, percussive and ambient soul. Intertwining minimalist techno, UK-influenced bass, and polyrhythmic grooves, he kept the listener focused in dreamscapes as he reflected his influences from labels like Nous’klaer, Spazio Disponibile, and his distinct attention to unconventional time signatures or drum work. As a mainstay of techno for over two decades, Cio D'Or has consistently pushed boundaries, gracing the decks of revered institutions worldwide and crafting a legendary discography with releases on Prologue, Semantica, Hypnus, Time to Express and more. 

Across both mixes you will hear Cio’s unparalleled ability for sculpting minimalism and sonic architecture, masterfully recontextualizing familiar and obscure tracks alike, breathing new life into them and unveiling hidden dimensions. She dissects, reassembles and creates intricate connections between disparate sounds, all flawlessly executed with an alchemist’s touch.
