Last Sunday, Eternal Love joined me for a special Free Association on Soho Radio.  Straight off the back of a big party weekend for us all, we kept the club-energy going with a b3b all the way through the show.

I wrote these songs on my acoustic guitar over the years. Some of you may have heard versions of them here on Soundcloud. I realized that what I heard in my head, and the styles/genres the songs wanted to be in were beyond my capability as a musician. So I did two things. I put a band together, and using an online program, I uploaded my lyrics, and entered information as to how the song should sound/feel, what instruments to use, tempo, and mood.  The program  using my lyrics, and information I input created songs. There was a definite learning curve, and a LOT of songs got deleted before I started getting what was in my head recorded! I found another program that transcribed the audio to sheet music so the band could learn the songs. We are now in rehearsal, and I will be singing, playing some sax and flute in our live shows. The Sun looks shaken — mercy is a chord she isn’t allowed to play.  
The audience murmurs — softness was not what they came to see.  

And for the first time… Pluto isn’t entirely alone.

I was about to post this beautiful summer mix of Tako with the following words:

"What do you expect from a mix when it's done by a supernice guy with an excellent taste in music and a wonderful record collection? Yeah and that's exactly what you get here. Also make sure to get a copy of the first 12" of the Sombrero Galaxy, released on Lovefingers long awaited ESP Institute. Sombrero Galaxy is the collabo between Tako and Jonny Nash and their "Journey to the center of the sun" is one of my favourite releases of the last years, cheers!"

That was yesterday. In the meantime something terrible happened. Tako's friend Petros Malevis from Athens passed away without a warning. This mix is dedicated to Petros! He will be missed. Rest in peace, Petros.
