Jonathan D. Haskell's work as Seven Saturdays is informed by the desolation of afterhours Los Angeles. From dimly lit Mulholland Drive to the isolated streets of Downtown, it is in these quiet moments symphonic landscapes emerge; coming together to form the headphone-centric Seven Saturdays. 

Seven Saturdays began as a creative concept in 2010 when Los Angeles musician/producer Jonathan D. Haskell wanted to sharpen his engineering skills on off days during the recording of his first two EPs (Seven Saturdays - which Stereogum described as "gripping and mellowly epic" - & The Snowflakes That Hit Us Became Our Stars).

Over seven consecutive Saturdays, Haskell challenged himself to write, play and record an entire song each day. Not only did this exercise lead to the band’s namesake and a full-length album (2011’s Love In The Time Of Anticipated Defeat), it also grew into something Haskell had not anticipated. “It was really cathartic because not only did a fully realized ambient record emerge from this experience, but that vision ultimately expanded the boundaries of what I initially thought my musical direction would be,” Jonathan explains, “whereas the first EPs were more structured and orchestrated, these ‘ambient’ recordings were free and sonically expansive.”

On the first single in 5 years, Haskell has returned to the stage and offers a fresh sound cultivated from familiar territory. In teaming up with new producer Stephen Kaye (Sun King Studios), Haskell and Kaye crafted a sound built on drums and rhodes, while bringing in new bassist Keith Joyner (Les Biches, Twinstar) and vocalist (ZÖE), whom he also collaborates with in the duo POLLA, to bring this experiment to life. The resulting single, "Vertigo", will be followed up throughout the year with a collection of singles, ultimately comprising a new LP in early 2019.

M.I.C is a live electronic out fit established 2008. The live sampling , live drums over sequenced synths combine into a powerful performance of sounds and textures. M.i.C is a strong dance element. ALL TRACKS ARE SUBJECT TO COPYRIOT LISTEN AND ENJOY...

Er brachte mit der Eröffnung des Club Oxygens im Jahre 2009 die elektronische Tanzmusik nach Waldshut und Umgebung und gab Ihr ein Zuhause. Seine groovigen Tech-House-Sets sind bis über die Grenzen hinaus gefragt, egal ob auf dem Schiff und dem Club Borderline in Basel oder im OXA und dem Stairs Club in Zürich.

Tom Nightowl Organisierte 2 ½ Jahre die Partys im Club Oxygen, diverse Houseparty in der Umgebung und nicht zu vergessen, rief er vor 2 Jahren das SunProject Festival in Bergalingen ins Leben!
