This song was inspired by people very close to me who have faced the struggles of addiction. I’ve seen the pain of hiding, of wearing a mask, and of carrying guilt and shame. But I’ve also seen the courage it takes to keep going, and the hope that can rise out of even the darkest places. Stepping Into the Light is about embracing the truth, letting go of the past, and choosing to rise. It’s a reminder that healing happens one day at a time, that freedom and forgiveness is possible.

The Singer

Isaac’s first album, pressure, and sudden fame push him into pills and whiskey. When he overdoses mid–record, Grace finishes his songs and lets him believe he finished it. “The Symphony of Me” is her bedside confession and quiet ultimatum—about authorship, secrets, addiction, and the cost of carrying someone else’s genius. When Issacs' producers find out, they force her to sign off all rights and pay her to disappear.

I'm a songwriter and musician, have played in bands, play mostly guitar, and a bit of keyboards, but my primary passion is writing songs--creating cool songs that people can relate to.
