Pow R. Toc H. - taken from an old Pink Floyd instrumental we liked during our schooldays, is the name for these and coming cooperations. This one is a little rough! But it seems to work...picked the two rudest analog Synths i have for this one! Btw i managed to assemble the Korg MS20 module kit on my own...whoever knows my talent to screw fiddly stuff up, is probably proud of me....at least i am...hehe. However, enjoy this one. Jörg's groove is awesome for this one and has a rather loose feel...but it seems that the outcome works. Enjoy!

Not as electronic as you might expect this one to be...i started out with a mean space android like sequence involving a lot of different Synth voices, only to realize that it killed this totally awesome groove, Jörg laid down here. Then i took up a bass....and laid down a basic line plus some noodling on top and a gnarly little thing with the Korg Ms20. My wife quite likes it...

Today was special.... Jörg not only came for a visit but brought this amazing loose Jazz Groove with him. At first we probably bored his son to tears...but hey, this little tune evolved into the sort of antiJazz, spaced out, groovadelic thing you hearing right now. No sequencer on this one...i tried, man, i tried really hard...but this is much better!

Pow R. Toc H. - Jazz?  Are You Nuts?

I admit it, i went berzerk...recorded a sequence of roughly 13 minutes and then had the nerve to ask Jörg for a groove...and he laid down this amazing groove live....no break 10 goddamn minutes of a solid concrete mixer groove. Initially i thought about splitting, sampling  and editing my bass parts, but to honor Jörgs efforts i just had to play the whole line live!
The words are something like this:
Hey, you're still dreaming...
Nothings is real with the exception of me and Hüni drumming...
You got to disconnect from the things unreal...
and yes, my late mother really asked me whether i would ever grow up? 
Nah, i have way too much fun!

Jörg saved my day with a little fat slow groove...This one was fun...i am beginning to like those organic sounds a lot.

Oh yes...sometimes you are approached by not necessarily impolite or stupid other individuals. Quite to the contrary, some of them are so nice, you just don't know what to tell them being asked for Guidance! It is sometimes hard enough to see the way myself!....ah, well, of course, enjoy this one!

A lot of the sequencer work is from the Dance of the Magnets sessions..in fact it is pretty much the same patch dressed up as a rocker. Again Jörg came over to my house, this time 'round midnight last night and at 2 am we had this track...Hope it works for you, we do like it and had loads of fun creating it.  Again this features Jörg on drums and good advice and me on one bass and another bass that only got to be a soprano and a load of synths....Enjoy, Reinhard!

Pow R. Toc H. - Slow Dawn Of Day

This one is a special track..Pow R. Toc H. were joined by Mani on guitar, who added a loose but beautiful guitar line to this track...He made this little bird literally fly. It was a long night...we all met at my house and finished recording at around 3:30 am. We had a lot of fun, though poor Joerg hit his head and suffered from a bit of a major headache (he is better again!). This one was indeed almost a quick one... but since we started working on it at 11:30 Last night we were only finished at 3:30 am this morning....The beat sounds somewhat broken and battered in places, hence the name of the piece. We both love the vintage sound of the E-piano quite a bit. There will be more of that in future pieces. In the meantime enjoy this one, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls!
