Its be a resurgent eighteen months for Anton Pieete. The Dutchman first unveiled 'Culture / Cotton', a release that signalled a new period of experimentation. Creating magic through his synthesisers and drum machines, Anton presented a mature, raw and modern techno sound. 

This Summer saw the release of the critically acclaimed 'The News', an eight track selection that took Anton's sound to the furthest reaches of the underground and drew knowing recognition from industry heads.

Anton rounds out the year with Galician and again brings his Detroit-Chicago-Dutch melting pot to the boil. The creepy, hypnotic tone of the title track is backed by the impressive Jupiter Blue, with its spritely melody and psychedelic sounds.A truly superb double-header in a sequence of impressive releases from Anton. Jamie Jones launched the Hot Creations label back in 2010 with 'Ruckus'. Now Jamie makes his long awaited return to Hot Creations with 'Planets, Spaceships', a four-track EP set for vinyl release on 18th November 2013.

These tracks have been Jamie's secret battle weapons all summer. Tapping into a dark sider but with that distinctive Jamie Jones melody and drive that are a signature feature of his DJ sets. Title track 'Planets, Spaceships' features vocalist Daniela Caldellas from Digitaria, who has an album planned for Hot Creations in the new year, whilst 'Cookie Monster', 'Starp Trek' and 'Stick' take things even deeper with vocal snatches and crisp claps.

Highlighting his avant-garde style and showcasing exactly why he is recognised as one of the leading figures in the rebirth of house music, 'Planets, Spaceships' further cements Jamie's place in the dance music hall of fame.

Third Eye was born out of Pan-Pot’s urge to create a track with a driving, hypnotic bassline. As a result, Third Eye makes its way into your head as listeners instantly get hooked on the bassline, but it’s not until the arp changes that things really start getting weird and fun.

The title track Cells was built around the synthline after it caught Pan-Pot right from the beginning. Similar to a cell starting in its simplest form and expanding, the track builds into a peak of full dynamic and volume and is packed with a variety of frequencies.

Mark Fanciulli kick starts a prolific run of heavy releases for 2014 with an inventive and dynamic EP for Carl Craig's Planet E imprint. Released on May 5th, “chord kaoss” is yet another example of why Mark Fanciulli is heralded as one of electronic music’s most forward thinking and dexterous young producers: a reputation that is only going to flourish as the genre-defying, instinctive releases roll out over next few months.
The EP launches off head-first with the thunderous “chord kaoss.”  Pounding 4/4s and thick, driving bass provide the backbone of what is an uncompromising, relentlessly underground workout. The powerful bottom end churns away as snapping hi-hats, fluid synth stabs and deep chords all collide to create a track full of atmosphere and energy.

“Helsinki” is less dancefloor focused, taking a slightly left of centre approach to classic, Detroit techno. Rising, old school chords waft over the simmering low layers that bubble with a slower but immersive groove. Warm synths stretch over the top creating an aesthetic that is at once unfamiliar and inviting. A mere insight into Mark Fanciulli’s skill behind the desk, this EP is the first impressive work to be born out the creative fires of what looks set to be the most potent period of his career to date.

Having recently stirred up dance floors with ‘Work on This’ and ‘Sirens’ from Danism, Food Music returns with another quality release, this time delivered by Nick Olivetti.

Nick has been bubbling under for some years and is an experienced audio engineer who has used his skills to make a name for himself in both the house and tech house scenes worldwide. He’s released on a number of labels, earning him support from artists like Eats Everything, Annie Mac, Shadow Child, Justin Martin, Catz ‘n Dogz and many more.

With its stripped back punchy beat, ‘Love Sine’ is the perfect opener for the EP. Vocal chops and a delicate pad riff build up before tearing into a huge sub led drop. Already hailing early support from Rinse, ‘Love Sine’ is guaranteed peak time fodder.

On the flip is WTF. This track features a no messing about beat coupled with a roaring sub-line that hits hard on the drop. Modulated synth lines add sonic depth in the builds and the hypnotic pitched vocal loops keep the track moving throughout.

You can spot Jimmy Edgar's homegrown imprint from twenty paces -- someone at BR HQ genuinely peered at my screen and said, “bit of Ultramajic, eh?” while I was typing this. The warped club constructions falling off the label’s assembly line take many forms, but often serve as an aural reflection of that typically eye-popping artwork: synthetic, pneumatic, and kinda sleazy.

Chambray’s “Rub” flew the freak flag high all through the summer. Now, as a bonus on his Rub Remixes, we have a remix of deep cut “Untitled” by none other than Len Faki. The longstanding techno don remoulds the track into the kind of functional, weaponised tool that laid our Berlin space to waste back in April.

They say the best things come to those who wait. It’s been a year since Matador delivered the incredible Zoles EP but fever pitch anticipation from the techno community is rewarded not once but twice as Ireland’s global powerhouse delivers a slew of new productions that spills over into two packed EPs for Minus! The first wrapping up a stellar 2014 for the label and the second coming out as Spring starts to shine in March 2015.

It’s impossible to pick just one highlight from this 11 track odyssey of trademark Matador mind music. Just like a Matador live set, get locked into the first beat and follow the path right to the end. Enjoy the peaks and swirls and get lost within the beats. Road tested worldwide by the man himself and by Minus godfather Richie Hawtin, this package leaves nothing to chance on the dancefloor. As if this double EP couldn’t be better news for patient techno fans, word has it that there may well be more to follow from the Irish underground hero. Watch this space!

We are proud to present you already our 16th release. This release is for us something special. For the first time we have a release that does not include any original tracks. But for this release we got 2 amazing remixes by Edu Imbernon and Agents Of Time of 2 original tracks from WhoMadeWho.

WhoMadeWho is known for its outstanding performances as a band. This sucessful acts is touring the world and tracks are getting remixed by some of the top producers in the world like Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Mario Basanov and Mind Against.

Agents Of Time are fast rising and already on top of the league in their genre. With releasing their "Polina" track, which got huge support from Tale Of Us, they delivered a instant techno classic tune. Playing all over the globe, with a show last week at our own event in Amsterdam, they set every dance floor on fire with their unique performance and live sets.

Drawn from the Chicago label's 2012 compilation Livin' For The City EP, the piano dappled joy of "Exodus" luxuriates across side A, spreading the good word with a pounding beat. "We Don't Need No Music (Thank You, Rahaan)" from SCRS004 takes another whirl around the dancefloor, its pinwheeling horns and infectious vocals pulling even wallflowers into the fray. And in case two remastered sure-shots aren't enough, the brand new "Who Do You Need" closes the record with a soulful thwack: half uplifting house, half blistering techno -- all peak-time fodder.
