A woozy introspective track from London-based producer soltura. 

Following her debut record on stimulate last year, soltura lands on All Centre with ‘Compression’ - two melodic club tracks of varying moods. 

The title track sees soltura fuse club and rap influences whilst ‘London Fields at Night’ is made for those early morning club moments as the track is filled with field recordings, rich pads and echoing drums.

Premiere: soltura - London Fields at Night [All Centre]

Tāmaki-based DJ ngaru (@nqaru) embraces sonic exploration in his sets. Unconstrained by genre and fluid in form, he navigates a vast field of energies and seemingly polarising emotional states, focusing on the contours of musical feeling. Melding restless percussion, glittery ambience and haunting vocal cuts, ngaru invites the listener into the space in between. He aims to create something unique while remaining grounded in a sometimes odd familiarity.

New mix by me to celebrate my favourite time of the year, Daylight Savings, where you put your clock forward one hour in Spring.  It means we're heading into Summer, we've got longer days and more sunshine - you just can't really beat it. Hence the corny pun for the mix, 'Daylight Ravings'.
 
It's been just over 6 months since my debut DJ gig and I'm thankful all the support and bookings since then. This mix is for everyone who has supported me or taught me! 

I also want to acknowledge and thank Reuben Winter for giving me advice when I started out putting together mixes a couple years ago. It's been the most important advice that's entirely shaped what I do.  Forever grateful for his wisdom and aroha.

Daylight Ravings

With the inception of Hard ‘n Fast Joints in 2018, Clay Louis (@clay_louis), alongside Leo CW formed the collective Eleventh Realm, focusing on bringing the heavier side of dance music to Tāmaki Makaurau. The pair went on to create Ultra Sound as their mainstay and most successful party series in Whammy Bar, transforming the space into an immersive dance experience through minimal lighting, industrial scrap-metal installations, and carefully selected line ups. Recently he has claimed a fortnightly Sunday show on Mouthfull radio ‘Terra Incognita’ which serves as an outlet for ambient, downtempo, and abstract finds more suited for at-home listening. At the club, Clay Louis’ sets are high energy, spanning a unique array of driving techno, trance, breaks, and experimental club that can be heard reflected in his own productions - With an existing cache of self released productions, his forthcoming material showcases a range of influences tied together with a deep understanding of rhythm. Included in his mix for Related Articles is Clay Louis' most recent release, 'Visions Of A Friend', for Teethclippers' 'Don't Bite Your Tongue' compilation.

Being both a member of Mauritian collective The Bakery, and affiliated to record label Boukan, Greg owes his avant-garde style to his rich and pluri-cultural musical catalog, varying from house, disco and afro, to jazz and dancehall. His sets are decidedly catchy, influenced by his status as a La Créole resident, and his love for nightclub culture.

Juliana Kaiser's debut EP through Puddle is an ode to the 'Río de La Plata' with all of its sociopolitical & environmental contradictions. On it, field recordings from the river and its surrounding areas intertwine with subtle and minimalistic synth lines creating a gentle narrative where the listener is free to navigate the space and complete the landscape with what is suggested but not said.
