She's All Alone (Cleo Toll~banjo)

LION is a queer black electropop/alt artist, singer, songwriter, producer and dancer from Naarm (Melbourne) Australia. Their music is a patchwork of pulsing rhythms, sharpshooting rap stylings and a tinge of heavy rock; a vessel for their piercing lyrics which discuss socio-political issues like microaggressions and racial identity. They move with power, choreographing revolutions with passion. Steeped in their Ethiopian heritage, LION won’t just tell you their story, they’ll roar.

Having spent the last three years refining their artistry with the Tomboi Records team, LION echoes somewhere between Todrick Hall and Lil Nas X. Their heavy beats and distorted synths evoke a lion’s roar. With the release of their Debut EP 'Reclamation', as well as performing multiple shows and festivals already, including the main stage at World Pride, Sydney Mardi Gras and headline act of Melbourne’s main LGBTQIAplus festival Midsumma, LION has firmly established their showstopping live presence. They bring together all the unique elements of their identity and their talents, creating theatrical, rhythmic, and prolific material.

Guns of the Seneca is an experimental, multi-genre trio formed in late
2007 by bassist Grant Olivier, guitarist David Plair, and drummer
Britton Frost.

Thanks to Welsh surf band Y Niwl for dragging me from Fb over to Soundcloud. As with most people I have likes and dislikes, the musical baggage I carry comes from my teenage musical influences in the 1970s. First the only music I had access to was the cheesy Top of the Pops, sadly stumbling across it during the height of The Osmonds and the Bay City Rollers. Second my parents only listened to Radio 4, but one day one news item changed everything. The world and his wife were up in arms against a single that just been released 'God Save the Queen' by the Sex Pistols, I listened and smiled. Third, in those days Radio 1 ended at 7pm and joined humdrum Radio 2 until10-midnight for John Peel. He would play anything and everything. So it is with me now as it was then, there is so much good music out here; I dislike pigeon holes and genres; I want to explore! 

Well it looks like this site has changed quite a bit lol. I guess the best thing to do is hit "TRACKS",  SC gets to choose your top tracks(which could be your worst loI)
I love the community that I have found in Sound Cloud. How great is it to show our music to each other? So wonderful to have built relationships with many of you. I look forward to hearing new tracks very much but miss them on the stream no doubt, PLEASE send me your track if you got something you are proud of, I would love to hear it!!!  I have been broadened musically each time I press play and appreciate more than words the feedback I have received on my tracks. I will reciprocate to anyone who spends time here because after we start commenting on each others tracks, we are no longer followers but friends. The amount of followers doesn't matter in the slightest. What matters are the friends who care enough to share in each others creations.  Hey, I know I have a weird sound and I can be hard to listen to but when I recorded it  I was alive, I felt it and I did it!! :)
