Někdy za vámi věci příjdou sami, uvedou se v pohyb autonomě, stejně jako v případě tohoto podkastu. V mailu najdete "out of blue" zprávu od Pacôme Orzi! "Hi there are you open for podcast" Pâcome vůbec není "out of blue" osoba ale člověk aktivně tvořící scénu, dj, promotér, zajímavá osůbka za kterou je vidět hodně práce. Žije ve Strasburku kde jako jeden ze zakladatelů otevírá a tvoří program klubu K-ALT, ten se dramaturgicky zaměřuje na off-mainstreem hudbu. Industriální  prostory továrny obsáhnou dancefloor pro 600lidí +  umělecké instalace, sochy a aktuální současné umění. Proto místo funguje i mimo víkendy a večírky. . . .  zde pár bookingů . . Mimo aktivity v továrně K-ALT je pořadatelem pravidelného open air eventu běžícího od jara do podzimu ve městě a je kurátorem podcastové série MANUFAKTUR (jak ale píše podcastová stránka je poslední dobou trochu mrtvá, lidi moc nezajímá a asi ji ukončí)

Sometimes things happen on their own, they just set themselves in motion. And thats exactly the case of this podcast! Out of the blue, there was this e-mail from Pacôme Orzi: "Hi there, are you open for a podcast?" But Pâco himself is not "out of the blue" he actively shapes
the scene, as a DJ, promoter he has accomplished a lot. He lives in Strasbourg, and as one of the founders of K-ALT Club, he is responsible for the monthly programme, which dramaturgically focuses on non- mainstream music. The factory`s industrial
spaces premises include a dance floor for 600 people, art installations,
sculptures and contemporary art, so the place also works outside weekends and  parties. To name a few recent bookings, so you get the picture: Objekt, Call Super, Kangding Ray, D. Tiffany.
In addition to activities at the K-ALT factory, he is also the promoter of a
regular open- air event running in town from spring to autumn, and the curates the MANUFAKTUR podcast series.
This mix is a live recording from the Krakow event Todoro and Pacô, when asked what he has to say about it, only wrote:  "It was that period when I was deeply in love" (so cool!).

The project name »A / B« references several aspects of the cooperation: The initials of the artist names Akaroid and BYDL, the distance from A to B and the A and B sides of the tape cassette. The two artists worked in a shared folder in their home studios in Berlin and Vienna without ever meeting or making explanatory phone calls. Each musician brought in his own elements, samples, sound designs and production techniques in order to play in new parts using the ping-pong process, to arrange them or to change the material of the predecessor through manipulation and processing. The sound generation and the sound design took place via analog / digital modular synthesizers as well as in the laptop or via conventional miking of acoustic instruments (percussion). The entire EP is supported by a sense of cooperation and innovative ways not to lose common creativity to isolation, even when contact is prohibited.
The basis of all tracks consists of extractions from field recordings. The ambiences and original notes obtained in this way (mainly from Vienna and Berlin - A / B) were not only processed with effects, but also used via MIDI programming to output beat, melody or harmony. As a result, the recordings fit more organically into the track structure and are supported by the arrangement of those elements that are more familiar to the hearing of the recipients. On the one hand, the title of the track reveals the location of the respective field recordings used in the track and, on the other hand, the one or two-digit number in brackets shows how often the project was sent from A to B before it was finalized, which provides a unique insight into the artists way of production.

Between 2007 and 2020, Mario Cotto spent virtually every Saturday night in the basement studios of KCRW in Los Angeles, broadcasting his Psychedelic Service to listeners worldwide. The show was an eclectic mix of punchy dance music, psychedelic rock, 70s AM gold, 80s synth, eccentric world music and ambient freakouts. It was a reign that sadly ended with the first lockdown. Tonight, we welcome him back to the air. For two hours, experience a heady trip inspired by Warp's Artificial Intelligence comps, KLF's Chill-Out, and something like a Late Night Tales colliding with a Sublime Frequencies compilation.

The Neighbourhood Character - @fresh_fruet - is a Berlin-based producer / selector, and a previous Incubator resident who hosts a monthly show at Berlin Community Radio. Her ongoing collaboration with NYC-based producer Afrikan Sciences has yielded releases on Lakuti’s Uzuri Recordings, and in 2018, the Tangle Transmogrifier EP was released on Jordan JCZ’s Off Minor Recordings. 

Most recently, The Neighbourhood Character has been working behind the scenes to establish the wood // work collective, an intersectional and non-binary / queer collective  in collaboration with Damon Bell, Afrikan Sciences, and Khalil Anthony. In 2017  the label-collective platform’s first album, IYAPO, was released digitally on Bandcamp. wood // work aims to create alternative avenues for socio-cultural mobility, professional self-empowerment, and transnational interchange in creative industries.
