This week we welcome the hugely talented Berliner and KaterBlau resident Mona Moore for episode #28 of the show.

Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in "her living room" as she calls KaterBlau. Even outside of Berlin, Mona Moore has already presented the audience her music, which she calls a deep groovy and melodic techno / deep house.
Meanwhile she also has a own monthly radio show and she is also the organizer of the event series "Enorm in Form" at KaterBlau. In the pandemic period, she has started to produce music and the first track will be released in June 2021 together with Stan Starry.
Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

Die in Berlin lebende Mona Moore ist schon seit dem Jahr 2000 passionierte Liebhaberin der Elektronischen Musik, so musste es früher oder wie in Ihrem Fall etwas später dazu kommen das sie sich auch mal hinter den Mixer wagt. Ihr Debut hatte in “ihrem Wohnzimmer”, wie Sie den KaterBlau nennt. Auch außerhalb von
Berlin ist Mona Moore unterwegs um Ihre Art des deepen groovigen und melodisch Techno dem Publikum zu präsentieren.
Mittlerweile hat sie auch eine eigene monatliche Radioshow und sie ist auch Veranstalterin der Reihe "Enorm in Form" im KaterBlau. In der Pandemie-Zeit hat sie begonnen Musik zu produzieren und das erste Release wird im Juni 2021 zusammen mit Stan Starry veröffentlicht.

Ezequiel Arias returns to Anjunadeep with new single ‘You’; a collaboration with fellow Argentinian producer FOLGAR that features a lively breakbeat and lush, hypnotic synths.

This single follows Ezequiel’s well-received remix of Braxton, Jody Wisternoff & James Grant’s ‘SpaceTime’, which has been played over 170 times on SLAM! radio since release, and supported by Anjunadeep artists at label showcases including Anjunadeep Open Air: Los Angeles, and Anjunadeep Explorations.

Ezeqiuel Arias has previously released on labels such as Sudbeat, The Soundgarden and Plattenbank, earning himself DJ support from tastemakers like Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J, Eelke Kleijn and Yotto. FOLGAR’s discography also boasts releases on Sudbeat, as well as, most recently, John Digweed’s esteemed Bedrock Records.

Ezequiel’s 2022 Anjunadeep release ‘Dreamlike EP’, also featuring FOLGAR as a collaborator, gained support from DJ Mag Latin America, and more recently Ezequiel has been touring extensively, with 21 dates across Latin America since June, as well as completing a four-stop Australia tour last November.

Secret Feelings opens the new year with a new single from label boss JFR. Hailing from Argentina but currently calling Spain home, Juan Franco Rivero aka JFR has carved out a unique sonic identity in the world of progressive and organic house, resulting in a string of uniquely crafted records that present a resonant worldly sound. Enjoying a steady rise since emerging in 2017, it was 2021 which proved to be a breakout year for JFR, as the Argentine continued his upward trajectory with a standout release for UK behemoth Anjunadeep; a project which would lead to offerings via Clubsonica and Musique de Lune across the next calendar year, and in turn garnering support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Sebastian Leger. 2023 would also bring newfound success for JFR, launching his Secret Feelings imprint in September with 'Anatonic', before ending the year with the critically acclaimed five-track showcase '21 Angels'. Plaisirs Sonores Records, the Montreal-based label founded by Hicky & Kalo, is thrilled to announce its monumental 50th release. 

To mark this significant milestone, the label presents two exceptional remixes of previously released tracks by the label founders. 

Karmon, the prodigious talent associated with Diynamic, emerges from a three-year hiatus to bestow an illustrious remix upon the timeless 'Time We Spent Together.' In his signature style, Karmon crafts a masterpiece that is destined to become an instant classic, honoring the melody of Hicky & Kalo. 

Makebo, known for his distinctive blend of organic and progressive elements, takes the reins on 'Luminous Path,' infusing the original track with his unique touch. Already championed by industry luminaries such as Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, Amonita, and M.O.S., Makebo's remix is set to captivate both old and new audiences. 

Label founders Hicky & Kalo express their gratitude for the journey so far: "Reaching our 50th release is a momentous occasion. Clubsonica Records opens the spring season with a collaborative single from Golan Zocher and Juan Pablo Torrez. Born in Colombia but now calling Israel home, Golan Zocher has firmly etched his place in progressive house lore. Following a 2016 debut, the Tel Aviv resident quickly found his place amongst the genre's elite, earning play and support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Guy Mantzur. Releases via Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers, Plattenbank and Proton highlight what has been an eight-year creative swell for this elusive talent. Clubsonica has also been a regular landing spot for Golan, with four originals and two remixes recorded since making his label debut in 2017. Meanwhile, Colombian artist and Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez has also compiled an impressive resume since first emerging in 2007. Mango Alley, Plattenbank, The Soundgarden, UV and more have served as landing spots for his progressive creations, while world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast supporters along the way. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Juan remains one of Colombia's premiere talents, sharing the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Matador, and more. Although both Golan and Juan have built a good portion of their discographies on successful collaborations, the duo have yet to work together. It seems only appropriate that Clubsonica be the home for the duo's first ever joint production entitled 'Cosmic Resonance', alongside a remix from Mike Griego.

Golan and Juan explore emotive progressive house sensibilities on their first joint production 'Cosmic Resonance'. Sleek and energetic throughout, it's a framework of punchy kick drums and undulating basslines which lay the foundation for rolling percussion and emerging atmospheres to unite, in turn creating a strong sense of flow. Hypnotizing arps and tension-inducing overlays take centrestage across the first act, with haunting atmospheres fully initializing the main break. Cosmic and emotive in equal measure, the interlude further solidifies the duo's dancefloor vision, melting down to a quiet calm where ghostly vocals and cinematic swells cleverly-coax, before the groove re-engages for a poignant finale of heartfelt chord changes and a haze of processed vocals.
