The latest offering from Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes Matias Vila back to the label for a new single. Having first appeared on the Belgian imprint in 2012, the Argentinean producer has grown into one of the label's core artists. Matias has developed a transcendent sound which is all his own, one where organic qualities marry groovy basslines and psychedelic design in a highly stylized fashion. Having last appeared on Sound Avenue with the beloved 'Ahora', a track which highlighted the label's 2018 'Summer Sampler' and eventually went on to receive a remix from Hermanez and Eran Aviner in 2019. Played for months by world class DJ Hernan Cattaneo, the remix enjoyed an extended stay in Beatport's Top 10 and by year's sat atop the label's best-selling tracks. Now presenting his first new music in over three years, Matias makes a welcome return to Sound Avenue with 'Union Eterna', alongside remixes from Sebastian Sellares and Weird Sounding Dude.

Also making his label debut and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Union Eterna' is Weird Sounding Dude. Based in Bangalore, the Indian artist has grown into one of his country's most beloved progressive house producers. As a firm favourite of the genre's most highly regarded tastemakers, Weird Sounding Dude has compiled an impressive discography with standout releases via Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and UK behemoth Anjunadeep. Also notching appearances on Sound Avenue affiliates 3rd Avenue and Future Avenue, Weird Sounding Dude continues what has been an inspired 2021 with a thrilling take on 'Union Eterna'. Atop compact beats comes a forest of effervescent percussion and a wall of wavy, shape shifting bass. Mysterious and driving throughout, it's a heady amalgamation of sound which makes for an energetic yet atmospheric journey. Although primarily operating as a dub, warm overlays and melodious cascades highlight a concise yet impactful break, bringing with it chromatic warmth and reflective moments, before the groove resets and puts a cap on this creative gem. It rounds out a welcome return to Sound Avenue for Matias Vila, who after a three year hiatus has delivered his most inspired creation to date.

Sitting as one of Brazilian premiere progressive house talents, receiving play and support from the genre's premiere tastemakers, with his groovy, hypnotic and emotional music, Transensations Records proudly welcomes LUCIANO SCHEFFER for his debut EP on the label.

After a stunning remix to GORKIZ and K LOVESKI - Arboreal track previously released, Luciano returns with a Masterpiece EP entitled 'SAUDADE'.

The first track "Saudade", is a very special track, dedicated to Luciano's father, presents his sound signature, a perfect match between his progressive minded groove and layers of driving percussion, plus a warm and breezy overlays filled with emotion, creating a track to delight dance floors. Second track "Boreal" follows suit and is well in line with the previous track, with a hypnotic groove and melody, tight and rhythmic in all the right ways; wavy arps set the course for aural enlightenment.

Following up the excellent ‘Voda, -102C label manager The Cobb continues his ‘Elements’ series with the third installment entitled ‘Ogon’. Beginning in September with the excellent ‘Veter’, the ‘Elements’ series is a four release anthology whereby the The Cobb creates a track to represent one of the four elements alongside a remix from Dmitry Molosh. The release of ‘Voda’ notched the series’ second installment earlier this month with a predictably great response, and now ‘Ogon’ arrives with equal anticipation.

Continuing his organic ways, The Cobb once again crafts a memorable production in ‘Ogon’. From deep, misty beginnings the Russian artist creates an inviting atmosphere for chunky grooves and pixie-like themes to work their magic. Intriguing vocal elements soon appear, processed for maximum sensory stimulation and sitting nicely in the mix before giving way to a poignant string section. Timeless in style, the main break furthers the musical narrative with an array of luminous motifs and soulful phrasing, the latter of which continues to build and evolve across a wonderfully trippy yet musical finale.

One of the unique things about The Cobb’s ‘Elements’ series is we get to see a different side of Dmitry Molosh. The Belarus artist has explored an organic blueprint on these projects with great success and his remix of ‘Voda’ might be one of the year’s most touching tracks. On ‘Ogon’ Dmitry toughens up the framework with punchier beats and more distinctive percussive details. The funkiness of the groove translates well with thumping stabs delivering monumental bounce while the musical elements remain restrained and tasteful leading into the break. The vocal sits more prominently here, meandering amidst the touching strings and exotic drum arrangements, before eventually melting down to the vocal and a buoyant final act. A classy sounding production from Dmitry which completes the third installment of The Cobb’s ‘Elements’ series and perfectly setting the stage for the December release of ‘Zemlya’.
