What first really got me into producing about 15 years ago was the art of free styling and cyphering. I was very fascinated how something so simple as a beat could open portals to a seemingly endless dialogue. The experiences I had through this showed me everyone has something creatively expressive to share or say. I feel They just need a place for that to be expressed, a place where they feel safe, because expression is not a competition, it’s a release. Which was ultimately the catalyst for me searching for and wanting to share my own voice, but even more so at that time to create a place for others to share theirs. So With that after a long ass time lol, I finally decided to create a mix of some the beats i made for me and my cypher homies back in the day. I present to you 'Cypher Nostalgia

So many artists are being affected by this covid-19 pandemic, this is my passion, but it is also my career, and that part of the journey is on hold for now. I am unsure how this virus is going to effect my appearances over this next while, as so many have already been postponed. I will do what is best, for my health and for all of yours. Very much including mental health.

Where are my roots as AppleCat? What aspects have stayed with me despite interchanging styles? What gives me that unique tingle when I hear it?

Multi cultural sounds, deep fairytale bass, erotic undertones, Classical/Cinematic beauty, magicks, - and motherfucking cosmic carnal dubstep. My intention is to create and share a mystical and primal underworld dance - then, to have us all come out the other side moved in some way - the kind of movement that is far beyond solely somatic.
As such every so often, maybe once every 8-12 months I craft a "Stick to your Guns" to remind myself -and anchor me- where I know my alignments are strongest.
