Andre Crom returns to OFF with 3 diverse tracks between the peaktime dancefloor and tripped out afterhour vibes.

The EP opens with the most driving track of the pack, aptly named "Acid Space". Heavily driven 909 drums, an energetic Acid hook, and spaced out atmospheric FX sounds make for a formidable dancefloor weapon.

"Drum Track" combines more minimalistic drummachine- and organic percussions with an eponymous vocal.

"Chaos And Form" offers an unexpected detour from Crom's recent releases, a dreamy and trippy reference to oldschool detroit techno, joining jam-style 909 and 808 drums with a hypnotic FM7-bassline and -bell-pattern.

Berlin/Barcelona based OFF Recordings is run by Andre Crom, focusing its sound to varying degrees of Techno.

Artists such as Charlotte de Witte, dubspeeka, Juan Sanchez, Basic Soul Unit, Cari Lekebusch, Dast (Italy), Madben and others, have all made recent contributions.

The latest release comes from Amsterdam based Ruben de Groot aka Man With No Shadow, who appears fresh from a stand out EP with 2000 and One's 100% Pure imprint. An established DJ around Netherlands and beyond, he can also list supporters such as Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Carlo Lio, and Sam Paganini to name only a few.

German born Arnd Reichow aka Drumcomplex supplies the sole remix for this EP after appearances on labels like Carl Cox's Intec, Traum, Bush, and his own Complexed Records.

"Apatik" is a powerful groove based track, where an acid loop expands and contracts like sonic waves, offering a driving tension that will appeal to many DJ's and bring their set up a gear.

The second offering "Hells Bells" has a more jacking and raw sound. Using the delayed and subdued bell samples to ride over the chunky beat. Additional attitude comes from low bass stabs and some well worked hi-hat textures, setting this up to do plenty of dance floor damage.

Track three "Free Love" has a rolling groove and killer vocal hook. The sound combinations create a captivating flow and packed full of energy, it will certainly become a go to track for many club DJ's.

Drumcomplex finishes the release with a toughened remix of “Hells Bells”. Keeping the originals bell sound as the track's main focus, he swaps in a pounding kick drum in order to add some serious stomp. The perfect way to end an EP, this reworked version is fast and furious with mounting tension.

Marco Resmann returns to Watergate after a productive stint at the Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town with two stellar cuts featuring local heroes Deep Aztec and Black Soda. Tack on a remix from the one and only Oliver Huntemann and another revision from Resmann himself and you have the ‘Babylon Side’ EP.
Teaming up to kick things off, Resmann, Black Soda and Deep Aztec embrace the cultural sounds of Africa's organic percussion and vocal prowess to create a tour de force tune perfectly balance between flashing club lights and vast open skies. Following suit, ‘Abadala’ sees Marco again with Deep Aztec for a lush ride into deep emotional spaces by applying mesmerizing syncopated rhythms and spellbinding vocals ideal for deeper or more sentimental dance floor moments.

Up next is Techno legend Oliver Huntemann who, playing after Resmann earlier this year at the 15 years of Watergate event at Warung Beach Club in Brazil enjoyed his set and the two hit it off, so logically he was asked to lend his trademark sound for a revision of ‘Babylon Side’ and he twists the original into a heavy Techno belter complete with sinister sonics and fever inducing sirens. Wrapping things up is Marco Resmann himself with his own take on ‘Babylon Sides’ and delivers a wild and twisted version of gargantuan low end and psychedelic shimmers of the original vocal resulting in a killer tune with a ton of attitude.

Italian-Berliner known as Avgusto, who is a key artist of FLASH with numerous EP's and remixes for the label. His contributions can also be logged for the likes of Kaputt, Elektrax, !Organism and Amazone also, as he continues to be noted as an exciting producer. The tracks range from raving, high octane club weapons, to more hypnotic, driving sounds that have a powerful and gritty vibe all round.
