RJ Ilano is a self-made singer songwriter. He began singing as a child however stopped pursuing his passion of music in his high school days. However late is better than never, as he just learned how to play the guitar and piano a mere 2 years ago. He is still a growing artist with a lot to learn but is now seeking people who will lend him their ears. His strengths lie in his versatile vocal range, he can sing subtle husky slow songs but can also rock out with his sharp yet colorful upper register. His influences in music are Jason Mraz, David Cook, Adam Lambert, Queen, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Led Zeppelin and many others. " I dont believe in a singly gifted artist, i know some are remarkable already especially at a younger age, but i know most (if not, all) artists nowadays have influences and idols. That is the key to artistic growth, taking all the good traits of those who inspire you and use that knowledge to create a new identity"- RJ Ilano
