BoneReader(Choya Webb) is a Chicago-based producer, sound artist, and disc jockey whose identity and roots strongly inform their work. Channeling sounds from multiple diasporas, BoneReader’s work centers exhibiting connections between various genres with a technical emphasis on techno, electronic, and house music. As an organizer both in community and sound-scaping, BoneReader seeks to build sanctuaries for cultural makers to expand and experiment with their art forms. This mix is deeply influenced by our current troubling realities and an ode to the strength of the community that brought us techno.
