DJ Neiman Marcus, otherwise known as ALTVR, began his foray into producing with hip hop and rap instrumentals. After his experimentation practicing with dance music, his interest was piqued. Since then, Marcus has dived deeper down the rabbit hole to explore the classic sounds of the late 90's and early 2000's. In the times before Covid-19 made music events nearly impossible, Marcus' event series The Comfort Hole took residence at Chicago's infamous punk venue, The Liar's Club. He and Fuj curated an extensive roster of Chicago's young and vibrant dance music artists. That same effort will be highlighted by the upcoming Komfortloch mix series they are cultivating. The inaugural mix premieres on August 12th!
