A classically trained percussionist, she has been producing and performing electronic music since her mid teens, inspired by first-wave dubstep, drone music and releases from Hyperdub and Warp records. Her roots as an experimental musician and performer have driven her to tirelessly experiment with new sounds and textures.

barbuhh is a DJ, producer, and resident techno dancer hailing from the southeast side of Chicago. He has immersed himself in the local underground scene, learning and developing his skills firsthand. barbuhh’s dedication shines through in his consistent attendance at every key techno event, where he has developed a sharp awareness of emerging artists and tracks.
barbuhh is known for his exceptional ability to energize the dance floor. His sets are characterized by meticulously curated track selections and a dynamic mixing style playing tracks ranging from hypnotic/groovy atmospheres to more heavy/driving tunes. With a deep understanding of the genre and an innate talent for creating immersive sonic experiences, barbuhh is a figure seeking to create dance experiences in the techno landscape of Chicago.

Music has always been a means of coping with the otherness and hybridity Shanti experienced throughout her life. While she is a philosopher and writer, Shanti has felt limited by words and has recognized the transcendent ability of music to express abstract concepts, states of consciousness, and conflicting emotions. She explores philosophical themes of existential despair and ambiguity through eerie, atmospheric and bass-heavy techno, angsty industrial/dark wave, squishy acid, and longing lofi-ambient soundscapes. Her sets weave a story of the simultaneous despair and yearning that are intertwined with the human condition while building a necessary tension leading to a cathartic release of emotions. 

Shanti has a monthly show, "Liminal" on Beloved Radio (starting in April). She also plays in the DJ duo, Evanti with Plumb.ee and hosts Otherworldly Ambiguity, an experience centered around the phenomenon of occupying the spaces in between and outside of pre-existing concepts and rigid categories.

Fruitbat is a Brooklyn based dj best known for founding and serving as co-curator for the notorious NYC party Sissies of Mercy, where he creates space for trans people in   the darker side of electronic music. 
With his set he shares sounds that highlight his roots in dark dance. By pairing pops of flamboyant synth driven tracks up against a consistent and sweaty onslaught of EBM and industrial, Fruitbat conjures space for catharsis in the shadows.

"Chicago native Justin Aulis Long discovered his fascination for uncanny music at an early age when his mother entrusted him with her record collection that spanned from UK punk to American dance. This  served as a gateway, stimulating his journey into the sonic vortex. As a child of Medusa’s on Sheffield, Long gained a higher level of musical education. His weekly pilgrimages to this venue’s all-ages hedonistic dance parties supplied a compelling musical concoction of acid house, UK bleep, industrial and new wave. Possessed by these unorthodox forms of music, Long purchased his first set of turntables and began to collect 12-inch singles from local record shops. Though his intentions were solely to pander to his musical appetite in the privacy of his bedroom, this acquisition proved to be the genesis of a voyage that continues to present him with new challenges that are met with an unforgiving dogmatic approach.

Long cut his teeth during the early 90’s at many of Chicagos Infamous DIY and underground warehouse raves. pulling selections from a variety of his musical influences and interests. Eventually graduating to take residencies at many of the cities established club venues and landing a residency at Smart Bar where he is currently the longest consecutive resident."
